Really great loop. the uphill is steep but lots of rocks to use for support. The views at the top are beautiful.

This was one of the more challenging trails we did and it was our favourite. The entrance is not well marked. The instructions provided by other reviewers were very helpful. It starts easy but once it starts the incline is steep and does not stop until you’re at the end. Hiking poles are useful both ways. The final 100m or so is even more challenging - both steep and lots of loose rocks and gravel. But once you’re at the top you are rewarded with unbelievable views and it will all be worth it.

Short trail. Somewhat challenging due to the uphill. Views at the top of Middle head and Cape Smokey are beautiful. We did this one on the same day as two other short trails (about an hour each).

Short easy trail. Some trees fallen over. Views are spectacular. We saw a few pilot whales.

This was an amazing trail. It’s challenging, with lots of uphills and downhills, beautiful coastal views, and lots of creeks (7!). It took us 2h20min one way and we did the out and back in one day. We spent just over an hour in the cove. By the time we got back to our car we were tired but it was doable. The views all along the way are amazing and Pollet’s cove is magical. Well worth it. I recommend long pants due to the overgrown bushes and have a hat handy as there are exposed stretches and it gets hot. We heard a coyote and were told there was a bear with two cubs closer to the cove so definitely pack up gear in case you encounter wildlife.

Great part of the rails to trails. Grew up walking this trail - even before it was called rails to trails. Flat and easy.

This could be so much better if it was better maintained. It's quite overgrown in many places. My walking stick would get caught up in the overgrowth and it was hard to see my dog lol. I don't care for the road crossings, but those things aside, I really do like the trail.

Nice and easy trail! The lake was really calm and there were some beautiful birds around. We saw moose tracks but no actual moose. Only took us about 40 minutes.

I was looking for the Broden brook trail but only found the Jodrey Trail, I did not walk far into this trail, so kinda hard to rate it. I was parked at the lower parking lot. I guess maybe I need to drive up the hill towards the park office maybe to find the Broden Brook trail..

Beautiful hike and incredible place to do an overnight trip. A few parts of the trail were quite overgrown so definitely wear pants. There’s a muddy patch just up from the river that was pretty unavoidable so keep that in mind. Wish I had stayed more than one night and will definitely be back!

Easy walk with my 4yr old. Lots of places to stop and rest and beaches near the end to dip tired tors in the water.

The park of the loop inland is so muddy and not a nice enough hike to really warrant trying to go through it. Just use the water side of the trail there and back for a more enjoyable experience.

This is my favorite trail in the park. Quiet and usually no one around.

Great trail however it was very grown up and hard to find the path. Had ropes to hold onto to climb down steep rock cliffs and back up. Slippery but a great adventure. More moderate to advanced. Red upper body strength and good balance.

nice trail, only downfall is the noise from the highway traffic. recommend always watch out for cyclists as some do not announce themselves when approaching.

The trail as labeled is mostly gravel roads or dirt roads. There are nice trails to hike in the woods. Very nice, one stage Forrest with a full canopy. And they are marked on the app. I don't recommend you follow the road around, its a waste of time but the other trails are nice.

Great little hike. In a sunny day, even with wind, it can get very very hot. Saw a lot of people in rain jacket and all that fun stuff. No need for that on a summer day on the ocean :)

I really like this trail at this time of year... Even a month ago I recall the bugs being unrelenting, but barely noticed them today. Amazing trail, makes me feel like walking through a prehistoric world. Gorgeous Jack pines. I would not classify this trail as easy.

I almost almost always stop here along the trail to stretch my legs. Beautiful old growth forest and a nice short trail to take a break from driving.
