Great trail with beautiful views. Rough terrain, would recommend wearing sturdy trail shoes and avoiding after a lot of rain. Good to have this map though as it’s not well marked. Enter the east coast trail and take the second path to the right. When you get to the top where there are flags pointing left and right go right! Follow the trail until you meet a gravel road. Turn right and at the end of the road you’ll find the view point. Head back up the gravel road until you reach Summit Drive the path back down is on the right.

Tough ,, straight uphill for 45 minutes over large rocks & fallen trees .. view on top is amazing, but difficult to find trail out to Summit Drive

This wasn’t a great trail. Steep, direct and causing erosion on the hillside, all the water flows down the trail (hence the mud). A better option would be to hike an out and back along a section of the East Coast Trail.

Awesome trail. Super super muddy. Some parts are very difficult to get through without getting covered in mud. If you are properly dressed and have the right foot wear and don’t mind getting a bit muddy this hike is amazing.

This trail is a difficult climb but worth it for the view, a nice reward! Entrance to the trail is poorly marked and also difficult to find the other side of the trail to come back down.

This is harder than moderate! It’s basically a km scaling a cliff! Met a lot of people that had to come back down the same way they went up bc they couldn’t find the loop. I also passed the loop until the app notified me. It’s poorly marked in some places and I went off track about 5 times Trying to stay on the trail. I’d do it again but it’s a jaunt, (the view makes it worth it)

Just hiked it this morning. Rained a lot last night so it was very wet with small streams running down the path in parts. It's all vertical, a good grind, takes 15-20 mins one way from the parking lot if you hike steady. Below the main trail is well marked, but this trail head going east on this section is just a ribbon. Once on the trail there are lots of ribbons but the trails is obvious. I wouldn't suggest anyone attempt this that isn't above average fitness condition or a seasoned hiker. There is nothing groomed or flat, all rocks, goat path, vertical, roots. It's tricky coming back down, especially if it's wet, very slippery. It would be easy to turn and ankle on this trail. But it's a great workout and the view from the top is fantastic.

Great trail. I think it might be a little underrated with a moderate level. The beginning from the beach is almost straight up through rocky terrain. View from the top is worth the hike. Would be better if trail better marked out
