Length: 1.9 mi • Est. 52 m
This scenic loop trail follows Middle Brook up one side and down the other, crossing several times over picturesque wooden bridges. Easy enough for anyone to do. The highlight of the trail is at the falls at the midway point where you can watch salmon fisherman casting in the waters downstream from the falls. There is also a salmon ladder that you can walk on top of if you are brave enough. At the trail head there is a nice little park which has a natural swimming pool, splash-pad, and playground as well as a RV Park for overnight camping. Show more

This short trail brings you to a fantastic view of Freshwater Bay at Dolomon's Point. The trail starts at the Freshwater Inn. Sea Otters, shore birds and seals are commonly seen here. It is believed that Beothuk Indians once lived at Dolomon's Point and there is an Anglican cemetery that dates back to 1700's. Please be considerate to the Inn owners, their guests and those who lived here centuries ago. Show more

Part of the Gambo Cross-country Ski and Snowshoe Park, this loop trail is well marked and groomed in the winter months. It has several sharp turns and is relatively flat which makes it excellent for the beginner and novice skier. It can also be used for walking and mountain biking in the summer months but it is not maintained as a summer trail.Show more

This is a unmarked trail that starts at the water treatment pumping station. The road leading to the pump station can be rough and might not be accessible in a small car. The trail goes counter clockwise around Dark Cove Pond and ties into the T'railway which is an old railway which is now a provincial park that is primarily used by ATVs and Snowmobiles. The last section of the trail which leads from the T'railway back to the pump house is along a powerline and can be overgrown and rough in spots. Show more
