Great trail! Easy hike - unless you pick the difficult rocky descent & ascent! Gorgeous ocean views. Beautiful little waterfall along the way. Trail well worn, rocky at times, good workout. Be careful on The Beamer on windy days :)

Trail could use a little attention, as the occasional step was out, and some boards were broken. It’s all fine though. Beautiful vistas and a great hike. We only went from the Hickey’s lane access (park by the rec centre / St.Michael’s church), out to a little beyond the Red Head lookout, then did a little loop on the ATV or mtn bike trails and then back. All gorgeous, and a nice little outing. You can also find some nice safe spots to put your feet into the river after the falls. Very refreshing!

Great hike!!

one of my favorite trails

Amazing experience. There are waterfalls, cliffs, amazing vistas and a great mix open and wooded sections. We saw porpoises, whales and many different birds. one of the best.

Moderate trail, some slippery sections/mud due to rain the past few days. Clear day lead to some beauty views. A few critters along the way, cows, horses and dogs. If not from here you may take in the local fishers cleaning their catch on the wharf toward the Torbay side. Dog friendly for sure. I'd recommend a litre of water for a return trip.

Absolutely breathtaking, from the falls that flows to the ocean to the fog that crept in long enough to cool me down and make the rugged coastline so majestic. Being by myself I only did half way, doing the other side real soon lol. One of my favourite hikes so far!!

This is an awesome hike. Stunning beauty. Awesome cliffs. Nature at its best. I would say the total hike is between 18-20 k round trip though. Definitely more than the 13.4 shown here.

Awesome trail, definitely in need of some more trail markers - easy to wander off trail. Also if you want to go all the way to Spray Lane this is closer to 18-19km round trip.

wonderful hike. my friend and I took 2 cars and parked one on either end. we started in flatrock and walked to torbay. bring lots of water!

finally got back out to this trail on Fridsy Aug 31st! absolutely fantastic! the way back to the car was downhill and I agrivated a knee problem but was worth it haha! highly recommend this trail!

Didn’t have time to do the entire length but went approx 1/2 way. Absolutely delightful. Not always well marked, but you can find your way. A lot of climbing involved so make sure to wear good footwear.

Beautiful, highly recommend it as a day hike.

absolutely breathtaking! i started in flatrock and went to the halfway point and turned back. was doing it alone so couldnt go the full way as only 1 vehicle. if you want to do thw full trail suggest having a vehicle at either end.
