Did this trail yesterday-and it was beautiful! A lot of well maintained boardwalk, and also normal hiking trail. Dog friendly. Was very hot and there is a good section that has no shade at all, so wear a hat. Few flights of stairs near the waterfall which was gorgeous. We were able to climb right up to the falls and get in the water to cool down. Only con is that the boardwalk is quite narrow/the ground is boggy so it is hard to pass others coming from the other direction. Keep that in mind if you are worried about covid.

Beautiful cliffs along a fairly easy hike. Well marked. Take the Whale Cove Trail to hike along the water.

Thank goodness for a breeze today as it was a hot one! Signage is confusing, making you unsure which direction to take to get to the falls. However, the beautiful view as you get closer to the falls is definitely worth it! Took about 2.5 hrs in, stopping a few times and 1.25 hrs back. About 2 kms in, trail gets a little overgrown but not unmanageable. The whole way, the path is not wide at all so if you come across someone going the other direction, it’s hard to find a spot to step off the path to let them pass. Would definitely do this hike again!

beautiful trail, lots of raspberry to pick on the way, and at the end awaits a beautiful fall.

This is a phenomenal trail. Definately one of my top 3. The falls are breathtaking, and we met people from all ages along the way. I highly recommend.

beautiful trail. Great views, excellent conditions. Fairly flat, making it a lovely 9km hike.

Numerous whales along the coast. When taking the trail the whale cove route is more scenic than staying on the main Father Troy section of trail.

Nice trail and fairly easy! We started at the Flatrock end and went all the way to Torbay in about 2 hours. A good bit of uphill - would probably be easier to start in Torbay and go to Flatrock rather than the other way around. Beautiful coastal views on the part of the trail closer to Flatrock. Near Torbay we passed a cow field as well, so it was fun to see the animals!

Beautiful scenery all throughout. I'm personally not a fan of boardwalk, so I recommend taking the side trail to the falls, instead of the going straight st the first clear fork in the path.

A very easy trail, with such a beautiful view at the end. The boardwalks are in great shape and over all great trail.

Did this trail on June 30th - Wanted an easy trail terrain-wise after spraining my ankle a few weeks prior on the Tablelands. My friend from St. John’s hadn’t been in the park so we took the afternoon to drive out from Corner Brook. The falls were beautiful!

The Flatrock side of the trail is quite enjoyable with great ocean and cliff views. Post Church Cove, it is very boring. Mostly wooded, no views, all ATV trail.

This is horrible I drove all the way up the lane to where the GPS was taking me and it’s gated off I can’t even get to where it says the trail is.

Easy walking trail, gravel walking surface. Nice pond and swimming area. Comes to an end and looks to be plans for further expansion.

Great trail! We started at Spray Lane and finished in Flatrock. There was good signage and the trail was easy to follow. Incredible views (we spotted a whale!). A few steep parts (one in particular near Flatrock), but overall an easy hike!
