Easy, scenic trail.

My personal favourite close to home.

Nice trails to walk the dog!

Hiked up from Quidi Vidi to the top and back down. beautiful scenery and lots of leg burn . Lots of stairs and some rugged trail sections. Great Hike.

A great hike. Be prepared for a gruelling hike up the side of the mountain. The trial is uneven and the rocks can be slippery so appropriate footwear is a must. Be also prepared for windy experience at the summit. Suggest dressing in layers and bringing a good windbreaker and headgear. Overall an enjoyable hike with magnificent vistas at the top. Bring plenty of water.

Great views, good areas to rest, can get windy at some of the open areas. Worth every step

This trail has everything! Great ocean vistas, cliffs, dramatic climbs, 4 compass points, a beach. Incredibly well maintained by an army of volunteers it was the highlight of our trip!

This is part of the Norstead Viking Village. Very interesting spot with "living museum" of viking history. The view from the top is breathtaking.

What a nice surprise! The trail is rough and very slippery after the rain but the view at the end is awesome. The trailhead is unmarked and can be hard to find. Ask the attendance at the nearby campground for directions. Too bad it looks like locals use this area as a party spot from all the garbage in the river otherwise I would have given 5-stars.

Very interesting spot where the river flows into and out of an underground cave. There are more trails then what we walked if we had more time to explore.

Wicked trail! So many wonderful viewing spots and Englee is one of the prettiest, nicest and liveliest fishing community I've seen and I've seen a lot of fishing communities.

Really nice trail. It could use some more signage since it was much longer than we originally thought it was going to be and we weren't sure if we were going the right way at times. We hiked to Glass Hole and almost stopped 100m short of the actual Glass Hole because we found what we thought was a Glass Hole. Keep going, you'll know you found it when you find it. It's worth the hike. There are other trails too in the community, so talk to locals or see the map at Conche Lookout Platform which shows all the trails in Conche.

Really nice trail with great views of Gull Pond with the Long Range Mountains in the background.

A beautiful lookout of Conche and the surrounding area. The viewing platform is huge and probably big enough to hold every resident of Conche.

Love this trail! There are several other side trails that can be added on to make this longer but the views are great along the coast and the forested areas are beautiful as well.

Short trail which leads to a significant geological site. If you like rocks this is for you; if not, I would pass on this one.

Lovely trail. The lighthouse is small but the trail is well maintained and brings you to a few very nice lookouts and through fields of wildflowers.

Did this back in September of 09. Was absolutely spectacular. I lived in Montreal back then but now live in Calgary, so Banff is my backyard and as beautiful as the Canadian Rockies are, this has got to be my top five. I was not a seasoned hiker back then and was in my late 20’s so I had the motivation and the discipline to complete this however now in my late 30’s as a veteran hiker I can still say Gros Morne is a doable and worthy hike for the beginner. The tough hike is rewarded with spectacular views.

Great hike through forests to the Tableland. Nice views and chances to see wildlife.

Difficile à battre comme point de vue! Attention en haut de bien repérer votre point d’arriver pour redescendre!

Stunning ocean views.

Pretty scenery and well groomed!...great trail for beginners

Incredible day. It has some steep inclines and declines but nothing crazy. Unbelievable views of the towns, rock faces, beaches, and geography. I see why it’s rated easy for regular hikers but if you’re a newbie I’d consider it a moderate. Don’t let it stop you though it’s an awesome day

We started in Logy Bay with a 15 min cab ride from St John's. The Beginning of the 8.9 km hike is absolutely beautiful with stunning views of the Bay. There were also lots of ripe blueberries to pick along the way. It is unfortunate that the hike goes past an area where plastic bags from the municipal dump have caught in many of the trees. This is a very small part of the hike and you cannot see the actual dump or smell it. But it is distressing to see the waste that we produce when we take plastic bags from stores. The trail is well marked and relatively easy. The hike ends in Quidi Vidi where there is a good microbrewery. We stopped in there for a drink and some live music at the end of the hike. We then continued on up Signal Hill and around the back of it on the Red Trail to make our way back to Saint John's.

Great trail. It's got it all. Picturesque cliff views, enchanted forest, a beach and ends with a pond. Well maintained.

Easy trail with fantastic views. The babbling brook near the end of the first half made us turn around early. Hiking poles for that section would have helped us.
