I don't even think it was 200 m in!
Very quick walk in and the falls are right there. There's a Patch of gravel on the side of highway for parking then just walk right over the hill, falls are to the left.

We did all the connecting trails.. I believe it was 7 km. Awesome views for almost the whole trail and lots of places to get off the trail and relax on some rocks and take in the views.
There is definitely some roads that are right beside the trail, with lots of cars going by but I still think it deserves 5 stars!

Beautiful falls, but the hike itself is not very scenic compared to other hikes in the park. There's a steady decline as you hike down, making the hike back slightly strenuous, especially if it's hot. The end of the hike will bring you to the top of the waterfall. Continue the trail to the right to make your way down to the bottom where you can swim. We went on a day when it was 84 and were very thankful for the swimming hole at the end. Wish we had more time to do Moosehorn as well like others suggested.

Easy, beautiful hike. One of the most popular trails we did in the park. It's very easy and is a great family hike. Relatively quick, but we stopped every two seconds to take photos and to take in the sites, making it last about 30-45 min. The vibrant green moss and the waterfalls are beautiful. Reminded us a lot of Watkins Glen in NY.

Really enjoyed this hike, markings could be a bit better but over all not bad. First time doing it and I was by myself and I was able to find my way fine. Quite muddy in a few spots but didn’t really bother me too much.

We love this trail, both summer and winter. Our whole family hikes it together and often. Even the dogs!

Absolutely loved this trail, it’s just challenging enough for it to be enjoyable and the views of the river are amazing! Definitely one of my favourites in the park

Not very challenging for regular hikers but very amazing views of the bay!

Beautiful trail and waterfalls! Definitely worth hiking!

very beautiful in the fall of the year, take it from me, don't go during hunting season

Amazing in person, there is a 10$ fee to access the road to get to the falls, but it’s worth it. This is my 3rd falls hike this year and one of my favorites so far. Easy to access can almost drive right to it if you have a SUV or Jeep.

Mesmerising

nice hike if your doing the loop I recommend moosehorn first

awesome hike and great falls and swimming spots

Always one of my favorite places to go. Love the views and the trails.

Super easy to get to but little hard to find the area, no marked trails; beautiful falls, would be even better with more water!

very user friendly, but need rain, brook was almost try

We hiked this trail last year just after it opened from wildfires. We loved being the only ones on the trial with the exception of seeing two people the first day. There were several places where we hiked and could NOT find the trail, which was disappointing but we struggled on and found our way. Several spots were poorly taken care of but so much of it was excellently cared for! The lake was beautiful and had a nice spot for our tent. Definitely worth the time to hike this trail. Took us 4.5 days but we hiked right to headquarters in Fundy National Park. My husband and two friends are hiking it again this fall so I guess that tells what we thought of it! Try it if you’re in for a challenge!

Mount Sagamook hike is very vertical hike. We took the counterclockwise route which is the shortest route to the top. If you like doing stairs then this hike is for you. The hike quickly gains attitude as you climb through a very steep path through a mixture of soft wood and hardwood trees. Once near the top there is a must take 0.3 km detour to the look off. From there you get s fantastic view of lake Nicteau and heart island below. Hikers beware however as a slip here and it’s a nasty fall. Also the gusty winds could cause issues near the cliff edge. These views are the highlight of the hike! The trail continues shortly to the top. The top of Sagamook is underwhelming as it is mostly treed . Continue the trail counterclockwise down the path to the bottom. Your legs will be burning as you try to slow your decent. A great hike that tests your cardio

A fantastic hike up to the top of the Maritimes. We took the clockwise route taking the trail left out of parking area. Following the relatively flat trail by a brook. We even seen a mother moose and calf off in the woods. Once you get near the top the hike becomes much more challenging. Climbing over boulders and up over rock faces. The trail here is not marked that well. Follow the blue painted rocks. Once you’re at the top you get fantastic views into Maine, Quebec and of course New Brunswick. There is an old fire ranger house at the top. There is cell service at top but not on the climb. We continued the clockwise trip down the mountain. A much easier trip down the mountain as their is a four wheeler road down to parking lot. Advice bring lots of water, especially on a hot day and there is no cell service in the park.

We love this trail. We like having a little snack when we get to the river. So peaceful!

It's ok. When you get to the top the view is very limited by the trees. Still an enjoyable, peaceful hike.

Great views, a little steep in places but worth the effort.

Nice easy trail, some water views at the back near the cabin.

Spectacular Falls! We hiked in Moosehorn and out Laverty Falls. Took 3.5 hrs for both trails, including some rest time at the Falls.

We hiked in Moosehorn and out Laverty Falls, definitely the easiest way when combining these two trails. Took 3.5 hrs for both that included some rest time at the Falls.

Cross from Grand Manan at end thoroughfare rd on low tide. You can either walk the perimeter or the road through the middle of the island. At the end of the road on the Southern end there is a red trail to the East that is well maintained and makes a nice loop. Either stay the night or hike over 3 hours before low tide and be back before 3 hours after the lowest tide.

Some road walking on the little fishing village secluded island. Some beach and rock scrambling as well. It is a loop, but we did not complete the whole loop. 17+ km, probably 20-22 if whole loop completed.

very scenic. longer than posted, and some of the climbs are steep. Definitely worth the time.
