The trail is in good shape and a nice casual walk. With current COVID restrictions it is one way, watch for markers as they aren’t placed near the parking lots.

Amazing views. Some tougher spots on the second half but a great hike.

This hike was very rewarding. There were views at every turn, and the lighthouse was a great spot for lunch. The kids loved it.

Great hiking area - pay attention to the side trails near the lakes. They lead to places to sit and enjoy the scenery.

Beautiful trail with awesome lookouts! A lot of up and downs and little tricky areas but very nice moderate trail!

Beautiful forest trail, peaceful, lots of tree shade and ocean lookouts, frequent shallow muddy bits but feet stayed dry, no litter, bugs weren’t bad at all (mid June 2020). Hiked Split Rock Trail to the lighthouse, and Troy Trail to Black Beach (so, 6.3 km), then walked the (mostly uphill) gravel road back to the split rock trail head (1.8 km) for a total distance of 8.1 km. Thoroughly pleasant!

Beautiful views. Some muddy parts of trail depending on recent rainfall. Some steep inclines and declines.

Nice relatively easy hike. The Owens Lake section is the only part that was a little difficult, other than that it’s pretty easy.

Awesome trail to clear your head and just relax while listening to nature. Me and my boyfriend would walk this a lot when we lived closer to rockwood.

Good trail, but not very well marked, which made our hike a lot longer than expected. If you follow the map on here you’ll be good but the signs on the trail are miss leading at times. We stopped 3 times for about 5 minutes each, to enjoy the view and take pictures with our dog, we also went off the trail a few times without knowing, took us almost 2 hours.

Nice little walk took the yorki he enjoyed it. Definitely wearing my rubber boots next time tho.

this trail is a gem! we have been drawing from a hat basically of random trails we have never been to, and just going since isolation. gas is cheap so we don't mind going as far as 150km. this was by far our favourite pick. I was expecting a super easy walking trail and it was actually a great hiking trail! lots of up hill and down slopes and beautiful views! I'm 5 months pregnant so I like harder trails that aren't too long. this was absolutely perfect!! if your someone who maybe isn't in great shape, it will take time so go early. we finished 4.4 in just under 2 hours but we stopped to enjoy the views in alot of spots! bring lots of water and snacks and enjoy the view!!

This trail is great for all ages and also wheel chair and stroller accessible. It runs right around the Saint John Harbour from uptown all the way to Reversing Falls bridge. Great place for dog walking. There is seating/benches along the way. Very well kept and taken care of.

Magnifique ! Des vues tout le long du parcours.

Went after some rain on May 2 2020. awesome views. lots of up hill and muddy in places. Be prepared for some mud if you go in the coming weeks. also lots of uphill treks and could be hard for some. did Troy's trail at the lighthouse and came out on Black Beach. my suggestion is if you start at Split Rock trail, bring 2 cars. Park at beach and drive up the dirt road. I'm so glad we did this today. after 12 km, having to walk way back up the hill would be brutal haha. enjoy the views! Trail is marked very well.

Great trail, perfect time of year for it. No snow in the woods, though the trail was muddy in spots. Great views. Road to access trail is dirt and was very rough and has areas of washout. Best accessed by suv or truck.

Beautiful! We went on April 20 and it's ice free.
