Whitetail and Tippen lot North sections are well groomed as they are used for both hiking and biking. The Tippen lot south section is a challenging climb and descent to the intersection with the Coastal trail. This section is suitable for hiking only. The section of the Coastal trail that completes the loop is moderately difficult and is only suitable for hiking.

Beautiful trail. Lots of wildflowers and wooded canopy.

Low tide is worth it! wear comfortable shoes and walk along the ocean floor

Great views, a little steep in places but worth the effort.

Nice easy trail, some water views at the back near the cabin.

Sweet view's with lots of ups and downs.

A good little hike to a nice, peaceful beach (depending on tide) and loops to follow a stream on the back half. Definitely worth the stop if you’re in the park, and right near Matthews Head Trail if you’re interested in doing both, OR, you can start the Coastal trail here as well.

Worth the stop if I’m the area, especially at low tide.

Not much of a “hike” but short and sweet and absolutely beautiful during the golden hour.

great view!! well worth it

Nice trail, some challenging hills but the footing is good for the most part. You don't need to be a skilled hiker but inactive people may find it tough.

for those of us not in great shape. This was not easy. but i would do it again.

Nice and usually not to active beach to visit in the park.

Very steep! Though if you are up for that the views are spectacular!
