Loved this one! Beautiful uphill trail; the peek is currently overgrown, so I’d likely suggest going in the spring or late fall to get a better view. Dog did great. Look for the Dobson trail signage on Hayward Rd. (Wear proper footwear, prepare for scree).

Beautiful trail. Going is all uphill. View on top is starting to get overgrown with hazel nut bushes and raspberry bushes but is clear to walk to the top. Good trail for a work out.

We did the 2 km hike up to the top thinking the view would be worth it, we were disappointed. The place is grown up and not much to be seen.

This was a nice hike to a very high spot. unfortunately the view from the top is becoming obscured due to brush and tree growth. The top needs to be trimmed back some.

come prepared with good hiking shoes and walking sticks, this one is harder than moderate! The trail head is marked as Dobson Trail with another sign for ambulance reference. There is no cell reception. Right and the beginning and through out, the trail is very steep. We crossed about 10 mudding vehicles. The trail was pretty wet with places the tires tracks are dug deep. The look out isnt indicated, but it is on the right hand side where there is a sort of round clearing. Climb the steep rocks and you will see the view up there! this is where the Howard Pinacle ends.

It's ok. When you get to the top the view is very limited by the trees. Still an enjoyable, peaceful hike.

No lookouts until the very top. Only one running stream which I would not recommend drinking out of. Would have been nice to have more clearing on top to have a view of the windmill farms. From Hayward road the climb start immediate with two to three short flat areas. Best to do with Trek Poles.

It was amazing!! No joke about the climb and my calves screamed at me for a while until they got used to it. But It was so lovely. had the trail to ourselves all the way there. When leaving the peak there were some atv riders, and met a couple on the way down.

I totally underestimated this trail when they say moderate they mean moderate. Be prepared to hike uphill for the first 30 mins or more. Wear proper footwear unlike me who wore birkenstocks!

Just got back from my hike up. It was awesome. Steeper than I expected but nothing to bad. Beautiful view!!! This is a must see for all hikers!

Love this trail. Steep in sections with loose rocks. We hike this trail every year. It is beautiful all year round. In hunting season be sure to wear orange. The view at the top is not what it was years ago due to overgrown alders but still it is a lovely walk

Steep initial section with transition to level ground then another steep section before the trail levels out toward the summit. Final 100m to the summit is quite steep as well, but the view at the top is certainly worth the effort.

Nicely maintained trail that is easy to follow. The view at the top is limited from tree growth but it is still a nice view from what you can see. On the back side you can also get a glimpse of the windmills.

The view from the top is so worth the trek uphill.
