Easy, beautiful hike. One of the most popular trails we did in the park. It's very easy and is a great family hike. Relatively quick, but we stopped every two seconds to take photos and to take in the sites, making it last about 30-45 min. The vibrant green moss and the waterfalls are beautiful. Reminded us a lot of Watkins Glen in NY.

Absolutely loved this trail, it’s just challenging enough for it to be enjoyable and the views of the river are amazing! Definitely one of my favourites in the park

Not very challenging for regular hikers but very amazing views of the bay!

Beautiful trail and waterfalls! Definitely worth hiking!

Mesmerising

very scenic. longer than posted, and some of the climbs are steep. Definitely worth the time.

Beautiful and relatively accessible given the terrain. Worth the stop.

Nice easy family hike. Young kids might find the stairs at the end challenging, but for older kids it’s a great hike. Very scenic as you descend into the ravine to the brook.

if you're taking this trail all the way to Chambers & Marven Lakes it is NOT easy, after 4.8km of a mountain biking trail you have to walk a steep trail down to the wolf river Gorge and then cross the river at 2 points and climb the trail on the other side. very steep and difficult especially with a full backpack.

So beautiful great short hike if you just want to get moving. Lots of stairs and wide path.

Did this on an overcast day. Very greeen.

Very scenic trail with lots of stairs it’s a must do while at FNP. This trail is not accessible! Bring your camera as there are many beautiful shots to be taken.

Nice Trail, if you get there early (7am-8am) you can avoid trail traffic.

Hike is easy and well marked, falls at the end are great.

Hidden little gem in Fundy. Enjoy hikes by rushing water/waterfalls and this didn’t disappoint. It made for a nice easy walk my 4 year old and I could do together.

This trail is one of my absolute favorites in the park. You can make it a quick overnight camping / backpacking adventure or a day trip. Whichever is your fancy be sure to go for a dip in the point wolfe river at the bottom of the ravine.
If you make it a loop and go towards Marven lake and Goose River be aware that you will walk along the main road for the last km or so making it about a 12km loop. I always prefer a loop to in and back the same way! Marven Lake and Goose River are an old cart path (double wide, loose gravel path)

Bring water shoes if you don't want your hikers wet for the return trip. The rocks are sharp and tricky to navigate without footwear. The NW side of the Foster brook trail is a steep ascent if you choose the loop.

Incredibly scenic and easy hike for the family.

Awesome little trail and if it weren’t for so many of is tourists, it’d be incredibly peaceful! I can see why reviewers before me gave it such a good score.

Easy trail but worth the time.

This trails goes farther up the river than described here. I believe total there and back from the fork is 16.4 km parts of it were a little more complex as you had to watch your footing. Overall a great trail really makes you feel like you are in the wilderness. A few river crossings but a rope was provided for you and the water was very refreshing while hiking.

Awesome hike with an amazing waterfall at the end. The trail follows a constant downhill grade right to the falls (2.2 miles). It gets a little steep at the end but still quite manageable. Not too difficult as long as you are agile and somewhat in shape. Once you reach the stream, keep going down and towards the left. (This part is a bit tricky but not too bad). After a couple minutes, you will reach the waterfall! The hike back is all uphill. At a steady pace, this entire trip (including a 25 minute break at the falls) took us a total of 1 hour 50 minutes (4.4 miles) Totally worth it!

Great hike! Take your time and enjoy the views. Some steep sections but overall a wonderful 5km hike in the woods.

Not for the faint of heart, it’s a fair trek in and out and not to be underestimated. It’s one of my favorites partly because of the waterfall, but it’s definitely not an easy hike.

This trail is not for the faint of heart! The first 1/3 of the trail is on an old logging road now covered in large pieces of crushed rock. Challenging with hiking boots - would not attempt with sneakers or sandals... Once off the road the trail is very enjoyable. There is one steep decline followed by a steep incline. The return trip more challenging but we were tired by then. Make sure the tide is out as inlet makes a beautiful beach to rest and eat at. I will do it again, but will aim for a cooler day

Well worth the time, incredible falls and a good workout

Hiked on a grey, Warm May 10 day There was fog on the water. Hike is actually 5.5km not 4.5 as shown in park maps Well defined trail, impossible to get lost There were a number of small streams with little waterfalls throughout the hike which was nice Much of the hike is through the woodsbut is interesting between the varied fauna and mixture of flat portions and sloped areas Trail in good condition The highlight is the shoreline vistas which are plentiful Enjoyable hike which I did with my little dog Joey Would do the hike again

Nice hike through woods and along river Did not ford river for final portion as being May 11 the river was knee deep I would expect water levels to lower as season progresses
