It’s a decent trail if you just want to stretch your legs for a bit and live in the area. There’s not much for shade so it can get pretty warm pretty quickly in the summer.

Personally prefer the aspen trail over the others as it is paved with wood chips and is very well shaded. All the trails are marked clearly. Definitely a must if you’d prefer to go for a walk within the city but want to feel closer to nature.

Great, easy, enjoyable gravel trail for a young family to enjoy. Once you get to the south end of the trail, turn left on the gravel road and head to the railway tracks, maybe you’ll get to see a passing trail.

Leisurely walk, no challenge. Nicely marked and maintained.

This is a pleasant walk through the forest on well-maintained and signed trails, but there is little in the way of scenic reward or challenge.

What a great little hiking area; especially good for hot sun filled days. With the trails running through the forest, the canopy is a great reprieve. The whole area is rubbish free, and people respected the "leash laws" in regards to their canine companions. Love to go back.

It is a pretty park like setting with beautiful birds filling the air in song, easy to walk, and for the most part rubbish free. Unfortunately, there are too many soaking wet dogs off leash trying to shake or rub on you. I would not go back

I love the Transcona Bioreserve. Can almost forget you're in the city hiking / biking these trails. Lots of wildlife to see and different areas to explore (bring your camera). The Bioreserve is fun to hike all year long with well maintained trails.
