Very easy trail with beautiful scenary. Paths are wide open with some small inclines /declines.

This is a beautiful area and the falls are worth seeing, but the trail is quite difficult. Much of the trail is within trees so the only view is the bush. There is a campsite near the falls, and a high cliff with a good view of the river near the halfway point. The map says it’s a 22 km loop but my GPS recorded 30 km! Give yourself plenty of time! Be prepared for bears - lots of bear scat on the trail and we encountered a mother & cub.

Short and scenic. The falls weren’t really falls, more a trickling stream, but the hike itself is nice.

A nice, easy hike to Sturgeon Falls. Lots of different mushrooms grow here in the late summer and you can sometimes see otters playing in the water.

For a longer hike, turn right after crossing the suspension bridge to go to Pine Point Rapids (8.7 km one way). Not much in terms of views as it's essentially a wide swath of access road through the forest, but you're likely to have it all to yourself. @jesiannoutdoors

This trail was exactly as advertised, easy but scenic as well.
I saw a black bear which was startling but the trail is shorter so it wasn't difficult to track backwards.
I would recommend this trail for beginners and experts alike.

we rode bikes along the trail. our 4 yr old had to walk the steep bits but otherwise a nice riding trail

short trail, very easy. on the map there is a split, it says falls to the left and a river to the right. we searched everywhere for the trail to the falls but could not find it, so we took the right trail, it just ends. still fun, a little disappointing we couldnt find the falls.

It is a great trail, but a little bit confusing trying to get to the falls from the marked area as the path seems to disappear. Bugs were out even though it was very hot, and some parts of the trail could be more difficult if you are not use to hiking with giant bolders and steep inclines. One of the best things was wild blueberries, they were delicious.

nice hike with moderate elevations along the river.

I did this trail walking was not very exciting if you were looking for a trail to bike or the jog in and out I would recommend this trail.

Took this trail from the bridge sign in the Nutimik lake campground area to Sturgeon Falls. Fairly easy trail - we had 7 kids with us including one in a backpack carrier and everyone managed the hike no problem. Lots of nice lookout points especially the bridge and the rocks by the falls.

would rate this trail closer to moderate rather than easy just because of the short but intense inclination in parts of the trail. I did this hike when it was raining all day for the entire hike. some of the views this hike offers are amazing as well as the information markers along the way. we had a bit of difficulty spotting some of the trail markers but it might just be because of the weather that day. love this hike!

Fantastic trail!

Went July 28th and the weather was perfect. Ate raspberries and Saskatoon berries along the trail. Very well marked and a lot of (minor) ups and downs. Just remember to wear bug spray!

Not that I was looking for water falls, but if you are this is not the trail.

Will absolutely do this trail again.

lovely hike, very enjoyable.

It was a nice scenic walk. I wouldn’t consider it a hike. I would consider this easy compared to others I have done.

Great place for a short hike. It's very beautiful as well.

Gorgeous, did about 9 kms (18 round trip) last summer. Not very well marked you'll have to sometimes search a bit for the guiding Inukshuks. Quite open so bring lots of water and sunscreen. Really lovely, hope to go back this year to check out the rest.

Nice trail! Well marked. Trailhead was easy to find.

We love this hike (myself and my husband and our daughter who rides in the backpack). I would consider this hike moderate, not easy. It’s one of our favourites.

Very nice trail. The bridge was about half way - nice place to stop and enjoy the scenery. Good trail to get some exercise and enjoy the outdoors.

Very easy trail for the whole family. There were a few short inclines but nothing to serious. We found lots of blueberries along the trail as well as a few wild raspberries and even a strawberry.

Beautiful trail on the Canadian Shield. We saw a party of bluejays, many other birds as well. Views we gorgeous, trees have started changing to fall colours.

This is part of the Transcanada Trail. The bridge is an important structural, linking feat for that. I did only a short part of this trail, found accidentally while visiting the Bannock Petraforms. Don't miss that.
