Very easy trail, no steep inclines, just gently rolling hills. Nice warming hut and view point of childs lake.

Very interesting trail. If you are looking for a short sweet adventure, it's a great option. It has great view points on the peninsula and is right on the waters edge.

We enjoyed this hike, it had some steep inclines, and overall interesting terrain. The trail needed some maintenance as there were newly fallen trees blocking the path. The trail was still usable, but you would need to climb and crawl at some points. There was quite a bit of animal droppings on the trail, and most of the trail was in dense forest, we made sure to make lots of noise to ensure we didn't encounter a bear. All in all, great hike!

Excellent trail with nice views throughout. Nicely maintained. Loved how blue the lakes look from the trail. Very quiet given I did it on the weekend. The first half was in the shade on an easy trail. The second half of the trail was moderate with more elevation changes and was more exposed to the sun. This trail has a great variety for everyone.

This trail is short and well maintained. There is almost no views from this trail. The viewing tower was in decent shape but the view from the top is completely obscured by the trees that have grown in. That was disappointing given that the trailhead sign promised a great view. I wouldn’t do the trail again as it’s too short for a hike without a view.

This trail is a very nice quiet trail. It follows the shore on a fairly steep slope which gives nice views. The first loop is fairly well travelled. I liked how it follows the peninsula into the middle of the lake. The second loop has many downed trees and one in particular on an incline that is really hard to get through so the trail is very overgrown past this huge, thick spruce. I saw three otters in the lake that were very entertaining!

Loved the views on this short, well maintained trail. Lots of wildflowers!

Beautiful scenery. You have a view of the lakes on both sides of the loop. Lots of incline changes that keep you on your toes. Down trees are found throughout the trail, so plan to get dirty. The first half of the trail is easier then the second.

Loved this trail. The changes in elevation kept it interesting and felt rewarding. Beautiful views along the lakes and in the woods. Aside from some fallen trees over the trail from time to time, it is well kept and easy to follow.

Lovely trail along lake, fairly flat in woods. Viewpoint let’s you see farther north part of lake that looks more uninhabited. Nice shelter with wood-stove, wood and ax to stop for lunch.

This is a beautiful hike along lakes with great views of loons. The first half of hike has a moderate amount of trees down but the second half has a LOT of trees down. Some fallen trees you have no options but to crawl under. There is also a pretty shaky temporary log bridge over a boggy area. We are active seniors and we were fine but had good hiking boots.

Great trail Beautiful views. We found the turnoff easily from 367 and trailhead is not far up road on RIGHT hand side road ... If you go to the end of the road you have gone too far.

Probably the best trail in the entire park. You are essentially walking on the side of a lake the entirety of the trail. There are a few rough spots that are wet and have downed trees

Great short trail with great views of the lake and campground. The trailhead is located a few steps into the Blue Lakes trail and is marked by a clear sign alerting you to the starting point.

Easy trail to follow with tons of trail markers. The trail head is a bit difficult to find as there isn't a clear sign. If you are going for just the km this trail is awesome but it lacks any sort of scenic value. There is one "scenic overlook" on Elk Hill just passed the halfway point of the trail but due to the surrounding tree height it is just a hill surrounded by tall trees.

Such a great challenging trail with excellent views. The trail was going under maintenance to clear downed trees but was still doable with a bit of climbing. Can get wet along the shoreline but dry on the loop back.

Nice fast trail with quite a bit of incline. There is a tower at the halfway point of the trail but unfortunately the view from the top is blocked by trees. Most lower star ratings of this trail would probably be attributable to this rather than the actual trail conditions.

This trail is located at the back of some dumping site off the highway. The "trail" was muddy and impossible to pass without getting soaked. The trail on the app is not what the actual cleared out path is and you will get a warning saying you are off the path.

Can get muddy but wide enough that you should be able to avoid it.

Snowshoed the trail. The lookout was a steep incline but very tempting and worth the trek. A bench at the top is a nice resting spot. Hiker trail signs were a welcome sight after a vague open area where wind had covered tracks of previous users.

I’d rate this a 3.5. More of a quad trail than hiking trail. Great if you need an accessible route but not challenging.

Beautiful short trail. Don’t go right after a snow storm like I did or it would rate difficult. Really nice scenery and super accessible.
