Beautiful little place, you can follow the trails up and have a little picnic too! Be careful of high tides if you cross over because the water will rise and it’ll be difficult to get back to shore, especially with little ones

easy to get to, not too crowded, mamy trails to choose from

Beautiful walk in the woods. Enjoyed the sound of rushing water and the birds singing and flying all over the place. The signage is not clear, pay attention to your map . Thumbs down just because of signage, otherwise it is a beautiful place with quite well maintained trails.

The hike was basically a 15 min walk, so if you are expecting to hike for a good hour or two, this is not the one for you.The view is very pretty though.

just hiked nearly 9 kilometers on this Trail it was fantastic you can go to Vancouver Island on the west coast to Tofino and ucluelet but this is right up there with those trails that you'll find there

Very nice park, enjoyed looking in tide pools.
Also did a geocache in the park!

Very beautiful trail this time of the year, we saw huckleberries and raspberries along the trail.

DONT MISS THE COHO LOOP NEAR THE HATCHERY and besides from that, a great trail did it all the way down to park royal and public transport available from fonteyn and elson street line 236 to the city. it was Saturday and no crowds everyone is on the suspension bridge haha

Take a beautiful afternoon/ evening and bring a picnic and enjoy the view.

we were going to do the suspension bridge but decided not to after seeing the price. we joined the trail on the way back. nice lookout points and you can get down to the river in some areas.

Beautiful! But actually there are no dogs allowed on the Yew Lake Loop. The loop is VERY short (took us under 40 minutes for sure). We went mid June and there were patches of snow. So I think Mid June is the best time to start going on this hike.

Gorgeous leisurely hike - took a slight detour and visited the Salmon Hatchery!

Nice falls

Hiked up jersey shore from the cypress viewpoint to get some vertical. Once you hit the skyline trail is flat and easygoing.

Great little hike to get the season started.

A little difficult to find parking at the bottom of the trail. The hike was nice, we added on the lost lake trail at the top and came down on the Baden Powell trail. I would definitely recommend doing the same to get some better views!

I went there several time, really like it.

It is the first snowing mountain I climbed, little bit challenges, but I like it! Beautiful mountain view!

Nice little trail, quite urban to start with, we started from Marine Drive, but was quite quiet along it, not too taxing, it's a gradual incline to the dam, good shelter in the trees and pretty surroundings too!

Nice walk lots of awesome bridges and great views.

The trail is in great condition and easy to maneuver across the creek as the bridge is washed out. Make sure you take the 10 minutes to walk to the lake before crossing the bridge. Pay attention to the trail markings as there are many different trails, you could get sidetracked easily.

Wear hikers over runners... terrian on the Shore Pine trail is rocky... the beacon lane trail is a simple 10 min walk from parking to the lighthouse lookout

One of the best hikes we have done so far this year. The trail is not super defined so follow the orange markers. The falls was amazing. Definitely keeping this one on the short list of hikes

Great relaxing hike. Multiple view points of the ocean. I went early around 9am so the parking was not so bad. However as I was leaving around noon, there were no spots available.

It’s a great trail but unlike the proposed route, it’s not actually possible to cross the suspension bridge from the west side. If you zoom into this proposed hike, you’d have to go off trail.

Very nice hike, long but not steep. Lots of cool wooden bridges and amazing dam in the one end of the loop. If you walk with small children, from half point it is possible to take s transit back or continue on the other side of the river. Overall it was 18 km and took 4 hours.
