A great and simple hike for me and my 2 young daughter's. Little harder to breath with the smoke. Took us 1hr.

Great reward for the effort.

Beautiful little lake with tons of very hungry little pan sized Rainbow Trout

Stunning. Challenging and technical with lots of verticals. We left our car at China Beach and took the west coast shuttle to Port Renfrew. We camped at Little Kuitsche Creek, Chin Beach and Bear Beach. They were all lgreat places to camp... Lots of space, pretty level. The forest hiking was lovely and the beaches were stunning.
Definitely use gaitors...there's a lot of mud and boggy parts. We went in early July. The trail is very wild. There was a hornet's nest in a mud bog just south of Sombrio so be careful.

Easy walk with views of the Skeena river surrounding the island. There are other side trails so you don't have do the whole trail if you don't want to. The trail can get muddy in the fall and winter months in some parts.

Great trail with a waterfall and railway trestle bridge. Poor signage-helps to take a pic of the nap at the start. To get to the waterfall follow the stream bed. Wear running/hiking shoes.

I hiked the trail to the lake. The round trip was 4hrs 20min. With a 15min. rest at the lake. Definitely take your time and watch your step for the first kilometer as others have mentioned lots of rocks and roots to catch you, keep your eyes peeled. This was a very pleasant walking in the old growth sections. The large boulders with the Moss and trees growing around and amongst them is
very grounding making you feel very small. A good hike definitely not a Beginners Trail.

Great place to watch the sun set at the end of this trail. Very easy and a nice walk all year round

It’s an awesome workout and easily the most beautiful lake within 45 minutes of down town Vancouver!

It’s a bit of a scramble at the end to reach the peak but the incredible view is worth getting your hands dirty

Amazing hike, do it every year, it is busy on weekends and I recommend visiting second peak as first peak is usually full

hard trail , but worth the effort GORGEOUS views . Went with my 13 yr old son and our 2 dogs :-)

Love it...have done it in winter & summer!

Amazing hike to a gorgeous lake. Take the canoe for a ride. Road up is very rough and rocky, only take a high 4x4. Took a SUV and and the clearance were tight, took about an hour to drive up

Good view, but trail is not as scenic

Easy hike to the chalet at the base of twin falls. Lots of switchback to the top of twin falls. We did a loop out along whaleback/ isolated peak route to the ACC hut. Lots of steep climbing to hit the ridge but some beautiful views.

Perfect on nice hot day light hike with few very nice swim sports...

I took my time, especially on the first half, as I chose the yellow trail, savouring the ever-changing vistas along the water. It was a bonus to come across the solar powered navigation light. The up the Pink trail and back on the Blue trail.
Lots of beauty on the yellow trail. A peaceful, forested return on the Blue trail.
Will gladly do it again.

Look out for the blue marks! Windy and nice weather.

Nice easy stroll in the park with a relaxing feel. The lagoon is beautiful and this is a place worthy of repeat visits.

Great trail ending in an amazing view of Mosul Falls. Walked behind it also which is a must for any visitor.

The Squamish River was flowing fast; some people tried to drift across on pool inflatables. Don't do that. Some people tried to slack line across the cable. They and their packs were dangling above the river; their self-rescue took a long time. Jay, the ferryman, was in the right place at the right time. But other online comments suggest that's not always the case, and cars have been vandalized. This is a nice, steep hike with a pretty lake at the end. But the logistics of getting to the trailhead make it a Not Recommended hike. Also, the trail isn't a trail; it's a route.

Went down after going up the grind. Hard on the joints but well worth it.

It's a rite of passage for anyone who likes hiking, took us 2 hours with lots of stops. Beautiful trail though. Very busy

The hight of this canyon is impressive, the walk in the Johnston Canyon is prettier but this Canyon itself is more beautiful. The water's colour is unreal. The end is beautiful, come around noon to have the best light. It's not too crowed compare to the JC.
The walk is super easy, it's not even a hike. Perfect for smoky days like today.

Great trail with beautiful views, the trail towards the end is rough and steep, harder for old people. The falls are beautiful.

Did this hike at the end of June with my dog, the lake at the camping area is stunning, and amazing views of kalum lake and surrounding mountain ranges. Horseflies were ruthless but I guess that’s a necessary evil.
