Great trail to the lake. Very steep. I was moving quickly and it took me 90 minutes. Another 90 minutes was required to make it to Gunsight peak. Not a very well-defined trail from lake to summit, but the terrain was open and easy to read. No serious cliffs to navigate. Great views all around and awesome mountain terrain. Only complaint would be the bugs.

This was my first ever alpine hike and it did not disappoint. We didn’t make it up to the top but we reached roughly around 1600m elevation. Stunning views all around. My only complaint would be the horseflies as they were quite aggressive. We were swatting them away nearly the entire hike. This annoyance did not change how I felt about the hike and I highly recommend it. Wear good hiking shoes.

This trail was pretty easy as far as the alpine after that the summit is a literal rock scramble and very high, with huge drops on both sides! I don’t Recommend to anyone that does not enjoy heights. Make sure to bring grippy shoes and possibly even gloves. Not for the faint of heart.

One of my favorite places to walk, with gorgeous views in every season. Tucked away benches and/or fallen logs here and there offer perfect places to sit and daydream, and whimsical faces and animals carved into various trees are great conversation fodder:) Easy enough for any fitness level and age group. Bring your dogs, but keep them leashed and please scoop your poop. And theirs. LOL.

Love this trail. Moderate for sure and extremely pretty. Just the right distance

Unmarked trail so keep an eye out for it! short walk to the falls , one steeper hill that you must go up (a rope is provided if needed) , About 5-10 mins from there and you’re arriving at the beautiful Wesach Falls. There is another rope with a steep climb down to get to the base of the waterfall if you want too, otherwise the view from above is amazing as well! Bit of bugs but not too bad at all.

It’s a great lookout, but if you don’t have a 4x4 to get to the trailhead you may find yourself walking a bit. The trail itself is overgrown a bit but enough people use it so it’s. It hard to follow. Pretty hard hike if you summit to the top, moderate hike if you don’t.

The first hour, to the bridge is fairly easy. However, after that... buckle up Skippy, she’s straight up!

Super easy. I wouldn’t call it a hike as much as a walk. Suitable for all ages.

Decent short trail to see this beautiful waterfall but lots of bugs so be prepared and a few trees to climb over with one short hill someone put rope to help climb up, thank you who ever you are

Very simple 15 min walk from the highway. Once you get tot he falls you have the option to climb down right too it but is a steep hillside. There is a rope attached to a tree that you can use to get down.

Easy walk with views of the Skeena river surrounding the island. There are other side trails so you don't have do the whole trail if you don't want to. The trail can get muddy in the fall and winter months in some parts.

Did this hike at the end of June with my dog, the lake at the camping area is stunning, and amazing views of kalum lake and surrounding mountain ranges. Horseflies were ruthless but I guess that’s a necessary evil.
