Easy to follow trail that's pretty steep (on the harder side of "moderate" IMO) for the first half, then mellows out. Lots of loose rock, so watch your step on the way down! Went on a cloudy day and missed the view by about 15 mins. The trail itself is mainly switchbacks through a very green forest, so nice at first but not amazing. Was pretty quiet midday on a Saturday.

Went for an 8AM hike with my dad (62 yrs. old). Started at Bridgeman Rd. First 400m is all flat ground. The rest of the hike consists of stairs and rocky terrain. Moderate difficulty. Took us approx. an hour overall (including rest at the top of Soames Hill). Viewpoint reminds me of Quarry Rock in North Vancouver as you can see the boat launch to the right and mountains all around. Still a beautiful sight.

Nature trips

Easy access but go early to get good parking. Short uphills lovely big walk and coastal shores. At low tide lots of additional shore line to explore and tidal pools. Can get very busy on the weekends especially during the summer.

Vancouverite. Short hike with the parents. Sweet view of Smugglers cove from a bench perfectly placed on top of a rocky hill. Didn’t get the chance to walk around the loop due to time but overall an enjoyable trail.

Rugged Arbutus tree-lined coastline views. Pretty easy, short uphills and a roots but nothing technical. Not wheelchair accessible.

Lovely view. Quick cardio hike. Lots of steps down which could be hard on some people’s knees.

HikingGreat!

Great well marked trail. Nice and lush within this trees then it opens up to a breathtaking cove. I highly recommend just stopping and witnessing the silence in different areas. Also saw some seals off the coast near the turn around point. Good for all ages & dogs :)

Short and sweet. Definitely on the easier side of moderate. The stairs are climbed before you know it. Lovely views of Gibson’s and the surrounding area. Persephone brewing is in walking distance from the trail so pop in there for a post hike flight!

A “quick n dirty” hike if you have limited time. 35 mins to top if hiking quick. Amazing and rewarding views.

Drive to the second parking lot to save yourself hiking up the mundane gravel road. Great trail. Not hard. Make sure to hike past the last cabin to get 360 views. Dipped in the lake on the return! It was amazing! So pristine!!

Great view at the top. I would not consider this hike hard. The hike itself took 5.5 hr and we took an extra half hour for lunch at the top. If your vehicle can make it to the 2nd parking lot I would recommend it.
