Approx. 3 hour return (total) hike of overall moderate difficulty to various viewpoints overlooking Heffley Lake and surroundings. Can be done as a loop or as a there-and-back. The Old Mills and Aspen route is easier than Skyline and it is recommended (if looping) to go up Skyline and down the Old Mills and Aspen trails upon your return. Signage is very good on this hike and there are plenty of resources and maps on the internet as well as trails actually plotted on AllTrails. Road to P1 requires high clearance vehicle. The road that continues past P1 to P2 is in good shape. Show more
