A fun hike. Mostly uphill and a bit of navigating through mildly narrow trails. There is also a really awesome spot halfway up with a great view of the water, excellent picnic location. The top is also nice.

Great trail! Definitely not for kids, can be quite technical in a lot of parts but pretty well maintained trail. Single file as well. Recommended for sure!

Has anyone does this hike recently ? How are the conditions ?! ☺️

steep climb out of the valley. beautiful lake, mountains all around. platform camping at bedwell and baby bedwell lakes

big day hike up a deep valley, while you're there, hike a little further up the valley to iceberg lake

I did this a few years ago. Easy access, well maintained trail. Saw kids on the trail so it wasn’t to difficult. There are also camping spots along the way. Beautiful views and well worth it!

This is a lovely hike. It took us an hour to to top, and that is stopping at all the lookouts. We had a snack at the top and admired Seymour Narrows.
On the return we stopped at a quiet cove and soaked in some sun. I can’t wait to hike it again.

Awesome trail cool bays, some upper/lower sections but doable for any age. Spend some time at bluffs at end and enjoy

Very cool hike through woods with occasional view of the strait. View at end is awesome. Be sure to read the full story behind Ripple Rock and the way the Canadian government blew it up. That story is amazing and an engineering marvel.

My wife and I only got about halfway in then turned back. Very still, not another person on trail. Got a little freaked out about bears. Forgot our bear spray that day. Ha ha.

Good view at the end. Good trail terrain is pretty easy. Can see Campbell River.

Great view at the top! Nice easy trail, took my pup and we were both ready for a nap afterwards!
Be careful about parking your car with any valuables, there have been known break ins around that parking lot/area!

Great hiking trail, clearly marked and not too busy. The campsites are well laid out tent pads (but they are about 30mins further walk than the All Trails route suggests. But- we went in early August and the bugs and insects were interminable- the worst we've had at any BC campsite and really hampered our enjoyment- we wouldn't visit this campsite against except in the winter months - we're covered in painful fly bites.

Great variety of sights, flora and fauna, plus some good climbs to get your heart rate up! One of my favourites for zippy training hikes.

Beautiful area, lovely short hike away from high traffic areas with a beautiful view to reward yourself with. Saw a cougar last time when we did this trail for sunrise, but sketched by that but we were out during their hunting time.

Landslide Lake and Iceberg Lake are gorgeous and make every minute of the hike worth it. Most people stop at Landslide Lake, but make sure you find the trail through the alder around the edge of the lake up to Iceberg Lake- turquoise waters, glaciers, ice caves, and towering mountains. Unreal hike!

The trail up is steep and pretty boring. But, once you hit the ridge, it's gorgeous and worth the climb! Lots of tent or hammock spots along the ridge.

I wouldn't consider this a difficult trail.
Camping platforms by the lake. Fairly easy to do the return trip in half a day. Great views all along the trail
Easily drove right to the trailhead with my cherokee. All the way to jim mitchel lake too. Cold but neat lake with a dam.

It was snowy and a cold over night camp but overall incredible experience! The trail is hard to see as it is under snow after the 9 KM camping spot, but a locked food storage was a treat!
Bring warm gear of you plan on camping!

The Landslide lake and Mt. Colonel Foster is amazing!!!

Great trip in early September. There was a lot of snow still on the mountain. We Hiked up to the plaque with out 5 year old then setup a base camp to explore to nearby peaks and the Wheaton hut.
