Great little hike - loads of tourists but easy for family or quick stop off en route to Whistler!

I have done this trail today in time 1,30. The weather wasnt good, but still nice walk. Very easy, i am in love with this forest.

Great for beginners! Nice lookout spots.

Nice view at end of it. Walk is pretty boring by bc standards.

The route shown is not the best. Visit the Adventure Centre or D.O.S. website for better information.

Nice short stop along the Sea to Sky Hwy to Whistler (Hwy 99) just before Squamish. Shannon Falls is an easy walk to an impressive waterfall. There are a couple of additional harder hikes if you have the time. Worth it to stretch your legs. More info can be found at http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/bcparks/explore/parkpgs/shannon/

nice woodsy hike, well marked, beautiful lakes

Less than 3% of BC's Coastline is estuarine and this is a gem in Squamish. It is also a Wildlife Management Area and while dogs are currently permitted they are required to be on a leash. It is also an Important Bird Area and many birds nest in the area and migrating waterfowl seek shelter here in winter. Black bears, coyotes, and bobcats spend time here foraging and hunting. Wildlife and pets do not mix so for your safety and that of your pets, please keep them leashed. Enjoy the wildlife and learn more about this amazing area.

Very good signage, easy to stay on the correct trail. Easy-moderate hike, good for dogs, did this hike in the rain due to tree coverage and less incline (less mud, less slipping) and was very enjoyable. Good rainy day hike!

Nice hike in an enjoyable setting. Busy on an October Sunday. Nice view from the river.

Easy walk

Today, Sept. 2, 2017, portions of this trail closed due to cougar activity on the trail. See photo.

Very rugged trail. Need to do a little rock climbing. Took us 4 hours to complete. It'd little steep do decided to take gondola down. Amazing views of Howe sound. And upper waterfall.

The trail is now called Sea to sky summit trail.

Great views and takes a bit of time to do. From the moment you start you enter the forest and feel like you are far from civilization. Minor spots of incline and declines in terrain, but nothing too difficult for people who aren't terribly active!

Nice and easy walk through the wilderness with some nice views of the river

Easy to slightly moderate trail (there are a few steep areas and flights of stairs). We did the smallest loop around the lake (4ish kms) with a 12-year old who had no issues. Some pretty views of the lake, but mostly forested throughout. Very easily accessible, there is parking right off the highway. Trail was lightly trafficked but there were a lot of people hanging around the lake and swimming - would recommend getting out early to get a parking spot. You can also add to the main loop around the lake and make this a much longer hike as there are various connecting side trails.

I would rate the Brohm Lake trails from moderate to easy.
I did the Brohm Lake trails and got the connector trail to reach the Tantalus View Trail.
There are 3 or 4 short steep sections that will require some effort, but totally doable.
A wold say this trails is good to go for people with 13 years old and up. (I don't have kids yet, but I feel younger kids may complain on the steeper parts)
There's not much to see on the trails it self, but the view at the top of the Tantalus view trail is incredible!
For such a "short" hike, it's a very nice reward.
I recommend starting early, as it gets "crowded" on weekends and the trails get a little busy.

Very nice secluded hike. Some good hills to get your heart going. Beautiful scenery. Will hike again for sure.

Nice water falls. Walked right to the falls. Quite a bit more powerful then expected

Easy kid friendly trail. Nice to have the lakes as trail markers. My only disgruntled comment would be the many off leash dogs. I would call this an unofficial off leash dog trail. Wonderful if you have a dog that is well trained with recall!! we used have, but terrible experience for an insecure dog, that is unable to go off leash. No apologies from any dog owners who's dogs ran up to ours when we tried to protect her through her training experience. People, sometimes leashed dogs are for a reason!!!

Completed this one June 7, 2016 pretty awesome rugged trail. I suggest parking in The Shannon Falls parking lot and starting your hike from there so you can visit B.C.'s third largest waterfall :) The trail is very steep almost all the way up with occasional views of Howe Sound and Upper Shannon Falls. There's some sections with rope to help pull you up over the tricky bits and a restraunt at the top to reward yourself with a cold one for all your hard work! You could hike down if your super ambitious but we went with the gondola ride down it's 10$ per person be sure to bring cash. All in all a great hike with a well marked but very rugged trail!

Great walk through the outskirts of squamish. Rivers, ponds, railway tracks, even the ocean.

You can find some interesting items and abandoned pieces in between the railway tracks and downtown.

There are many hidden or grown over trails too that take you to Interesting places.

If you live in Squamish or are just hangin out, take an hour to walk these trails. The growth in there is amazing.
