Great hike down to a beautiful beach. Nothing too strenuous however you really have to watch your step as there are tree roots everywhere. I wouldn’t have taken my toddler down there but many people did and they seemed to be enjoying themselves so what do I know. No cliffs or anything so no worries there.

easy, must see. 40mins one way.

Truely mystical. Rugged.

more of a walk than a hike, still a beautiful forest and beach

Great hike on Vancouver Island to Mystic Beach along the Juan De Fuca Marine Trail, this trail takes you across the Peter Wolfe Suspension Bridge and down through the woods and right down a log staircase to a beautiful beach. Can't ask for more, highly recommend.

Mystic beach is beautiful and the trail is easy, some stairs at the end but otherwise a pretty good trail.

Loved it, only got turned around once on the way back. But we figured it out

The beach was ok but the journey through the forest was incredible!

One of my favorite places and my go to spot. the hike is amazing with a nice little suspension bridge half way. the kicker is the stairs, but the beach is worth it. camping on the beach is allowed for $10 per night and paid at the trail head. cash only! if you don't pay you run risk of a penalty ticket. pay the $10! the beach is amazing, the camping even better.

awesome shoreline reward!
