Amazing hike! No one there but us, cool bridge and amazing waterfall. Didn’t walk all the way to the lake but would definitely do again!

Easy trail that leads to Sproat lake, it's nice because you have a more private setting to swim & you can take your dog and not worry about them disturbing anyone. Beautiful little trail.

A good hike, gorgeous view of the valley and Vancouver island. My dog and I enjoyed it, we went earlier in the year and got to hike through the snow. My dog absolutely loved it.

Does anyone know if you
Can access trailhead right now?

beautiful hike, starts with a fun suspension bridge, walk amoung the ferns to a private beach area of Sproat Lake. Continues to a little waterfall, magical little spot!

Beautiful walk to Sproat Lake.

FYI. We tried but logging roads are closed due to extreme fire hazard so we couldn't get up to trail head.

This was a tough hike but the reward is so worth it! The view at the top it unreal! Took the judges route up

Hiked mid-June. We were able to get about 100m from the top, but we’re unable to get there due to the snow. I’d suggest waiting until all of the snow is melted until going. You can see if there’s snow from Port Alberni.

Very beautiful views and is actually pretty challenging.

Was a great family hike; proud Dad and Mom day!

Stunning waterfall views. Fairly easy hike with many sets of stairs as you walk along the falls. Great place to stop and have lunch as there are picnic tables.

I was there yesterday and the trails were quite icy with all of the snow we've received. However, I think I'd say it was a little more hazardous than the lake side of the highway. Other than that, it was a beautiful day in a beautiful park. I strolled both sides and it took me about an hour.

Took the judges route up. Snowed the night before and near the top some of the steep rocky scrambles had potential to be very dangerous with the ice and snow, but with careful judgement and patience we made it up to the summit all in one piece. The hike is very steep and not for the faint-hearted. This was my first time hiking this mountain and the views on the way and at the summit were unreal.

The gate to the logging road is closed due to extreme fire risk. Only way u r getting in there is by bike.

Tried to go today, but the gates are closed due to high fire hazards. Apparently the mountain has been shut down for 2 weeks now. They will probably reopen once the heat settles down :)

Attempted the saddle between Mt. Cokely and Mt. Arrowsmith. What a beautiful hike! Disappointed about the snow because I had to turn around after about an hour. Looking forward to revisiting this hike in early September. Great views!!

Tough hike, with a little snow on top that you have to traverse. Overall great views and good workout

Be prepared for bear wildlife, we ran into near the parking spot on the return. Lots of nice birds and flowers along the way. Poles helped a lot on the descent, still lots of snow at the top that impeded our ability to finish. Overall it was a fun but challenging hike! Enjoy guys!

Although we didn't make it all the way to the top due to not being prepared for the snow, the hike was amazing. A bit cloudy but when it cleared up a bit you could see other mounts nearby. If you are planning in going during March where there is a bit of snow still, don't forget your snow shoes unless you want to get stuck waist deep.

this hike is amazing but very difficult. if you take judges route make sure to take the road immediately to the south of the parking lot. from there head up for 10 or so minutes and you'll see the trail head heading off into the Bush on the right. it will look like a an old gravel road. walk another 10 minutes up this trail and you will come to a cul-de-sac. you will see the trail on the left. very visible. make sure to always follow and look for colored tape going up, it's very easy to walk off the trail and have to retrace your steps. 2.5 hours up and 2.5 hours down, amazing views but make sure to bring a jacket for up top and thin gloves for the rock climbing portions. good luck ! and bring nuts to feed the birds on the way up, super cool
