its a busy trail. The parking is difficult but the hike is well maintained and the view is pretty great. the trail can be done in as little as 50 min there and back.

May 5. Did this hike with a couple of friends, and although we had to park in the overflow lot, we didn’t really encounter many people. One small section (less than 100m) had a bit of snow, but nothing significant. Hiked it in shorts and a t-shirt and hiking shoes, no crampons or microspikes necessary. Beautiful view, a decent amount of elevation without being an outdoor staircase (see: Grouse Grind), and the scenery along the trail made well worth the trip.

Great Hike, Though we got lost, make sure to continuously keep an eye out for the markers and don’t get too distracted by the logging road because you will end up on grouse mountain instead.

Lots of dogs, if going on weekend try to be there before 8am, otherwise it’s too crowded.

Great hike. Lots of stairs at the beginning and some in the middle. The view was great but LOTS of people. Parking is also a challenge while there.

Very easy walk through the forest with gorgeous views of the forest. Anyone who is able to walk quite a while will be able to complete his trail. The water was flowing very fast when my friend I went which limited our view of the falls, however, the view of the falls wasn’t too impressive.

Great trail there is quite a bit of up and down but it is a rewarding view. Like others have said it gets kind of crowded. If you turn up at a busy time then you might have to jockey for position to see the view, however at the end of the trail almost at the rock there is a small ungroomed trail on the left that leads to another portion of the rock that is almost just as beautiful and it is very secluded.

I wouldn't say this trail is easy. its steep at sections. beautfiul views but very busy. best time to go is during the week.

A great trail if you aren’t interested in an all day event. Lots of stairs and can get buy on a nice day. Once you get near the top you have to make sure you take the right path or you might end up continuing off to another trail. The hike could take about 1-2 hours. I have gone about 5 times now and I still love going

I did this hike month ago and it was pretty fun, last kilometer took me 2h because I drawn in snow

Nicr trail, not difficult, but pretty view

WARNING. Winter conditions make this very difficult.

This route is only good as of late June. If you do it earlier, bring snow shoes, crampons, winter gear, etc...

Also, return on your tracks to go down. Do not try to go down the other side in the middle of winter. It is easy to get lost and it is a 45 degree gradient without snow. Snow just makes it worst. It’s super dangerous and you risk injury, sliding down, getting stuck in 20 foot snow and all the rest.

Note that you will not be able to see trail markers since they will be under the snow. (Yes, even in May)

Don’t believe me? I climbed it yesterday and got totally screwed on the back side. Once you start going down and you realize it’s too hairy, it’s too late to go back up. It took me 7-8h to complete this because of the tight situation I got stuck in. The recording of my hike was stopped when I realized I needed to preserve battery in case of an emergency because I wasn’t sure I was making it out.

Just weeks ago, two guys from the armed forces needed to be rescued off this mountain. If you do climb it anyways, plan for an overnight stay... just in case.

Consider yourself warned. Proceed with caution.

Nice quick hike with a great reward at the top.

Do this hike first thing in the morning! So many people start showing up around 10am and it takes away a bit of the beauty. We did it 7am and it was so lovely in the forest and got to really enjoy the rock at the top to ourselves.

great view

April 21. From first and furthest overflow parking lot to top and back to car in exactly 3 hours. Very rocky (dry river bed). Going up is ok, it’s like an easier and longer Grouse Grind. Coming down sucks as you have to really watch your step as to not fall on the lose rocks. The view up top is pretty, nothing special though in my opinion so wasn’t worth the climb for me. Usually don’t hike around Vancouver because too many people but not a lot of people were on this one so that was nice. Lots of snow up top still but had no problem in my hiking boots.

Great workout but dont have high expectation for the waterfall. Can do the lynn loop instead if you want something shorter.

I went for hiking with my wife and couple of friends on Sunday morning. It was beautiful and the weather was excellent. The only problem is parking there. You need to go early in the morning to find a parking spot. Other than that it is one of my favorite hiking spot.

Ran out of Battery before recording 2nd half. Great hike! Felt intermediate with a challenging incline. Stopping alone the way for water breaks made it very manageable. Some rocky paths, snow at the top. Crampons were a huge help, not required but definitely made ascending and descending on packed snow. Great view!

Well maintained trail but very busy. Decent amount of climbing but my 5 and 8 year old daughters made it in and out without any issues. About 2 hours at a kids pace.

It was a great for a trail run, a challenge mostly uphill. Not very well marked in some spots.

As of March 31 there is still a large amount of snow on this trail, largely concentrated between about the 3-5km mark. It's hard pack and was passable while moving carefully in normal hiking boots (had to slide a couple of short sections) but would recommend spikes if you have them. Quite a lot of melt run off in the area as well so waterproof boots are a must.
Surprising past the 5km mark the snow pretty much entirely cleared up all the way until the falls.

Not a trail. Fenced off with electric fences
