it's an amazing view at the cross... must have gps/map when hiking as it has a lot fork trails along the way...

Has anyone done Pink trail to hike? It seems Pink trail is the most challenge one and I wonder how steep it is... I’m planning to hike there soon and I prefer moderate difficulty. Thx for your answer

Quiet, peaceful walk with extraordinary views. The furthest point on the right side was marked as private property. Bring friends for this one, it’s in a very secluded area. Start on the right of the loop (easy side), so that you’ll be going downhill on the harder side.

Tried this trail on a weekday morning. Despite many cars in the lot, there was no one else on the trail. Well-marked trail through beautiful forest and some exposed rocky areas. Mostly moderate with some challenging uphill sections, especially nearing Mary’s outlook viewpoint, but well worth the work. A great workout and fun trail. A new favourite!

Tried this hike for the first time in the early morning on a weekday. Quiet and not busy at all at first, but parking lot was quite full upon return. DO NOT follow the route indicated for this hike on the map. It directs you onto mountain bike only trails (more than once) that are clearly marked ‘do not enter’. You will get run over by cyclists or at least annoy them being on the wrong trail. Also, there are much more direct and ‘easy’ routes to get to the cross and the viewpoint indicated. Beautiful forest, amazing views and moderate difficulty. I Highly recommend hiking Mt. Tzouhalem, but be prepared to check your map/app regularly to stay on course - there are lots of intersecting trails on the mountain.

One of my favourites on the island. 10.4 km by my AllTrails app, starting from Bings Creek and continuing to the tower (facing west). Love the bits of scrambling - like getting a free "Wildplay" experience. Life is good!

Beautiful! Each look out got better! Some maintenance was being done while we were there but they were friendly and easy to work around

Be super careful, we had to jump out of the way twice because the trail is frequented by mountain bikers who rip down the mountain. Keep your head up! The view at the top makes it worth it though.

Very nice trails with some good view points. The uphill part the we took is reserved for mountain bikers of which we met a few who warned us. Good workout for us old folks.

Went up on June 6th, around 1:30 we got 2.5km up and spotted a huge black bear. Be aware of wild life.

A great local spot for walking and with close access to somewhat more demanding hikes on Mt Richard's. Can be muddy.

Completed this hike with our baby and puppy in tow. This was a beautiful trail that offered just enough of a challenge to make it accessible but still required some effort. There was one section where a steep cliff made it tricky for the pup, but she made it up with a little bit of encouragement from us. You’ll want to stay on trail for this hike as a good portion of it was lined with stinging nettle. The route shows a loop at the top, where you continue past the summit, descend the far side and follow a trail back around. Maybe we didn’t take the right trail, but we came down a mountain bike trail that made for a tricky descent with a baby on my back. I would suggest just going back down the way you came up for an easier trek, and also to avoid walking along the road for a while. Great views of Duncan and the Strait from the summit.

Was an easy trail with good directions. We started in the right direction which was easy and quick to the top views if you go to the left it’s an uneven hike a bit longer to the top. Some spots are dangerous keep your kids close and dogs on a leash. Beautiful views

I followed the pink/red markers all the way up to top. The loop section seemed to be less marked after the viewpoint. I got anxious and turned around and went back down the way came up. The rope section is also hard with a dog.
