great 1/2 day hike, 8.2 km one way, took us 3.5 hours to hike up, smoke from wild fires obscured the view so we will definitely do it again when there is a good view,

Challenging trail but the views make it totally worth it. Beautiful vistas and wide alpine meadows full of wildflowers. Absolutely stunning. Hiked to Mowich camp and spent the night. Be prepared for bear encounters!

Hiked to windy joe two weeks ago. Challenging as you go straight up to get to the top. Once we were on the top the look out was locked, so we were not able to check it out.

It was a great little hike, not a lot of elevation. Late and river is absolutely stunning you really get some beautiful views. Although we tried to go pass the sigh that says dangerous and there was not much there is really rocky terrain. We turned around and came back. A great hike for someone who doesn't hike often but still wants to spend a day in nature. It took us all in all 7 hours to complete it but we didn't really make a lot of stops.

great ridge hike and a good day hike loop. steady and steep up to the ridge then moderate ups and downs. great views of the chain lakes below and the surrounding peaks. limited water on the route except for creaks form the melting snow.

good in the summer or winter. moderate and consistent grade with nice wide path. in the winter snow shoe or tour up and stay the night in the fire lookout at the top. not much for views on the way up.
