Cute switch backs and great view of Hope ! The trails are starting to ice up a tad but easily done in regular shoes/boots yet.

Good to enjoy the Tunnels with a longer walk, especially in fall. Only 1 viewpoint.

Beautiful hike with lots of vegetation. Did this today, we did the Othello tunnels first then walked along the rail bed until we found this trailhead, quite steep sections so I definitely agree with other reviews about it should be rated as moderate, coming down the end of the trail back to the parking lot, I was glad we did it “backwards” as the end part seemed a lot steeper than coming up the back end of it. Depends if you want to start or end your trip with the tunnels/tourists.

loved it. I am NOT a hiker by any stretch. and I am not in good shape. this trail is classified as easy but it kicked my ass. so if I can do it anyone can.

The trail shown on this app does appear on open topo maps but it's over grown. As advised in the previous post we started the trail at the west side of the fire and rescue centre. It starts as a mountain bike trail with jumps and bridges. Trails split in several directions. We took the trail that traverses west to meet the trail shown in this app which is well maintained. Once we arrived at the main trail, it goes straight up steep terrain and hasn't seen traffic in years. We decided to turn around here.

beautiful but definitely moderate

It’s a great track but would be easier to do the loop with the tunnels at the end instead of the beginning. I would say the track is moderate rather than easy as there are some steep sections.

Can not seem to locate the trailhead from gps location. Found it via parking at the end of the way station, cross the road near the overhead sign/stream. You will see a parking lot on the north side for fire and rescue. Look for a fence that runs perpendicular to the road. There is a bike wheel with "dog" on it. That is the trail head we found and used. N 49°23.315’,W 121°28.028’

The beginning was pretty steep and strenuous and had some challenging sections for the little ones (my 4.5 year old slipped a few times on ascent and descent) but my 7 year old never missed a beat. Walking through the tunnels was a great way to cool off at the end on a hot (28C) day and there is a little area you can dip in the river between the last tunnel and the walk back to the parking lot.

The view is worth the steep climb. A good mix of terrain and cut backs. The stairs are a bit tall to climb but the view is absolutely stunning!

Beautiful hike! The loop has some steeper sections at the beginning but down hill at the end. The final walk is all flat through the tunnels with the amazing river rushing below.

Great view from the top

Beautiful view at the top

Beautiful. Stunning views. Must go early in morning as highly popular trail. We did this Nov 5 and not enough snow for snowshoeing.

This in one of the better roads to drive, especially if you have a motorbike. But my suggestion would be to go mid week or super early on a weekend. The road gets super busy and lots of it is single lane.
