Super flat and easy trail - very pretty woodland walk.

Almost all of this “trail” consists of medium-sized rocks in which you have to teeter and struggle to avoid twisting your ankles. The only good part is the sand at the end on Wreck Beach and the stairway back up to Marine Drive, which is a good workout.

This trail is well maintained but poorly marked. With all the diverging paths, AllTrails was the only way I could find my way along the intended trail after taking a few wrong turns. There’s a variety of alternating shade and open space, which is nice on a sunny day. The trail is actually moderate in difficulty at the beginning and then becomes easy for the remainder, hence that overall rating given by AllTrails. There are nice views at the end if you take the loop clockwise.

A easy trail with kids

The map needs to be updated. There is no walkway to cross Chancellor Blvd. along the Spanish Trail. I ended up turning back. Would have been nice to see a bit more foot traffic too (perhaps because the sky was a little gloomy). Nice, thick foliage though.

Pacific Spirit Regional Park is huge. So many trails to explore. I walked the Sasamat, Clinton, Salish trails and back (about a 6.7 km loop) in a little less than 2 hours. It was a good route. Flat and safe for everyone. Will be back to check out the other trails.

Nice hike on a summer day.

i really enjoyed this walk. is easy and has some nice view points! is mostly under forest cover and then has spots where you can go out to the rocks, and walk along them if you want. nothing strenuous, pretty flat walk. the park at the start is also lovely with some spots to BBQ and a walkway out to the water.

The perfect 6+ km walk

Easy and short hike. Great finish by the beach

Taken from Jean Cousins book, "Easy Hiking Around Vancouver", this trail is my first trail in Vancouver when I moved to the City. This can be considered as family-friendly hike with different kind of forest through the route. This trail can be used throughout any season.

dont miss the beach, trail options in the park are numerous, I like to walk to wreck beach along the rocks too, be careful in the summer as people will not be wearing clothes if you go west of this trail. pacific spirit park has numerous dogs and bikers, something for everybody
