There was a little bit of snow on the one side of the lake, but the water was warm enough to swim in. Trail was steeper than we expected and was hard on the joints. The hike was nice, but difficult. It was still quite warm even under the trees, bring extra water! Completed July 14/18

It took me an hour

It was a tough-ish trek up, but the way down is what kills you. Retie your boots and be ready to guard your knees!

It’s a pretty Trek though!

Average rating because I’m a sucker for a rewarding view at the end.

We were there insanely early. Can’t imagine parking had we been any later. Other than that concern, quick, fun and effective hike.

Beautiful area, once at pierce lake a 2 bike takes you to the top lake. Very isolated area. Advanced, hard.

Parking at the trailhead overnight can result in stolen tires and rims!! We arrived back to our truck after camping at the lower lake overnight to find it resting on two logs with NO WHEELS. Another party of hikers (who so kindly gave us a ride out of there) had their car's door handles yanked off. When we filed a report with the RCMP the officer advised us to get our truck towed asap as hooligans in the area will light cars on fire just for fun. The lake was nice but in my opinion not worth risking car parts.

Great litttle hike. Took my 10 month old daughter up in a carrier and it was fairly easy and the inclines were pretty gentle for the most part.

Took the kids it was fun counting teapots along the way

great hike on snow shoes very crisp and sunny day in February followed two cross country ski tracks snow got deep but persisted good day beautiful views.

Tried accessing trailhead today, no luck. I had to turn around after about 1k from the main road when road got too sketchy for my rental 4WD. DId see a larger truck coming down the forest service road though so someone made it further.

completed may 27 2018:

A relatively steep trail 6.4 kilometers up to the lower lake uphill the whole way. About 2.5-3k in you'll run across a boulder field where you can peak out at the valley, though the view isn't anything to write home about. Just past that you enter a beautiful old growth forest. the creek runs through it and there's some flat areas if you want to spend the night. Continue on for another 3.5k and you'll reach the lower lake. From there you will have an excellent view of MacFarlane and a beautiful lake to keep you company. We ended up stopping there but you can go on to Upper Pierce Lk and MacFarlane if you want to. The lower lake would be an excellent spot to pitch a tent and then go on to MacFarlane

As of may 27th 2018 the trail was completely snow free and the lake had a thin layer of ice on it.

I really like this walk for a quick cardio. Up and down all the way with a nice small stair climb at the end. Beautiful trees and plants in this walk.

Great beginner hike!

A good short hike that gets your heart beating from the start and easies off at the middle for the next hill to the top. It takes 32 min to the top at a fast walk unless you jog.

Fun hike, lake wasn’t quite worth it though, squelchy and not the best for swimming, although very nice and cold after a hot summer hike.... didn’t go further to Mt Webb which might have made it more worth it.

My daughter loves looking for all the teapots! Makes for an enjoyable hike! Would have given 5 stars if the view at the end was more spectacular.

This is a fantastic hike. Trail is a little bit overgrown in places. But still easy to follow. The last kilometre is steep but the views are well worth the effort.

This hike was one of my favorites, but only because I went all the way to Mount. Web and Radium Lake was on the way. I wouldn't suggest this one just for the lake because the lake wasn't all that beautiful...but Mount Web was breathtaking and I'll never forget it☺

start at chilliwack lake prov. park. we took a group of 6 to radium lake in 4.5h full overnight packs. we reccomend camping at the saddle between mt. webb and mt. mcdonald, there was water up there. lots of campsites as well. from there the summit is only 40 min. incredible views and quite an elevation gain. total hiking time was 6.5h to the saddle and 4h return.

Decent hike with tall trees all the way to the top. Not too hard. Liked the teapots people have left in nice little spots. View is nice, but also blocked by the large trees.
