Very cool trail

Short hike to an absolutely stunning waterfall. The trail is short but downhill most of the way which of course means uphill coming back.

awesome views easy hike even with a 3 year old

Nice little hike to the lake and spent the night. Rough trails around the lake and up to the falls but passable. No bear signs, and saw alot of little frogs

Very easy trail not moderate. My three year old had no troubles.

Cute lake in the end. Good for swimming.

The hike to the lake was nice. The walk around the lake was a waist of time and energy - There was little to no... trail maintenance; view of or access to the lake.

Amazing hike

Very nicely built deck for great viewing of this short but wide rushing fall. Not much of a walk to get there.

Easy downhill well packed trail. Beautiful falls.

There are a few rocky narrow and steeper parts on the short trail, which could be rough when wet. Nice flat viewing area at the bottom with chain link fence. 3/4 hr there and back.

Short hike, wide trail, perfect for breaking up a long drive and stretching the legs.

Great hike, beautiful scenery, a scenic reward if you can make it to the Alpine Lake. First 6 km of this trail is moderate and a good trail other than some overgrown areas. Once you cross the bridge the trail becomes difficult. Narley roots, wetlands, and rock/boulder scrambling await. Last 1 km we encountered the steepest climb and traversed across snow to reach the end. I brought my 13 year old daughter on this her first backpack trip and she did great but it may have been a bit harsh for her first time. Also brought my dog and he only had trouble with navigating the boulders. He slept for 2 days afterward. The campsite can be beautiful but we encountered snow mid June and had to use a shovel that was left there to clear the only viable spot. Firewood is hard to come by up there so be prepared to scavenge. Definitely use hiking poles they are a must if carrying weight.

Spectacular falls with amazing trails & wooden bridges. Short downhill walk down to falls, steeper on the return!

Decent day hike to the base of Yellowhead mountain, possible to scramble the rest of the way to the peak if you felt inclinded. Although that would take considerably longer as the end of the maintained path is at the base of the scramble. It's a considerable uphill climb the majority of the way so be prepared not to do leg day at the gym that week as this hike is more then enough. Some beautiful views or the valley and a beautiful alpine hike.

tough hike. huge incline most of the way. not for the inexperienced hiker.

Beautiful falls. Easy trail with good viewing. Time it right and see the river rafters portage around it and re-enter down a wood ramp.
