Great!

The falls were gorgeous. We went and stopped at the 3 waterfalls and we loved how quiet this place is.

took a wrong turn at the beginning and after five minutes of walking went back and took the left trail. decided to hike along the ravine instead of the logging road which was a very bad decision. figured we would spice it up. it was too much spice. beautiful until we had to bushwhack through a very overgrown forest for around half an hour in order to return to the original trail. we did not bushwhack. the bush whacked us. when we emerged disheveled and scratched from the brush and located the original trail, we found the first waterfall completely dried up as well as the river. further along there were trickling waterfalls but nothing like the downpour we experienced in february. still a ton of fun. our bonus adventure turned into its own adventure. however, when you have awesome friends like mine, the journey truly is better than the destination :)

Easy walking path. Took my daughters and our dog. There is a small parking area at the trail head.

The trail isnt very well marked when there are forks in the trail. I had to continually check the map. Got off track a few times.

Mountain biking

Long somewhat boring trek down an old logging road. Thankfully there was a canopy of shade. I’d recommend mountain bikes, next time. Lock bikes at bottom. Explore falls and cabin then return by bike.

Walking

Exit off of Grouhel Rd if heading south on Hwy 1 then stay on Christie Rd until it turns into Arroyo Rd. Park before red gate on logging road. Follow trail to Hatchery. Flat walk on logging road then it slight elevation when heading towards falls. Refreshing dip on a summer day!

Christie falls is a very cute secluded spot, with multiple little pools made by the waterfall. (Although there isn’t much water falling right now). The walk is mostly on atv/logging road, but not unpleasant. Wouldn’t really recommend camus ridge, it’s a walk through an area full of arbutus trees, but doesn’t lead anywhere, and doesn’t have particularly spectacular views.

An easy walk along a logging road and then a very short climb up to the falls. Lots of waterfalls to be explored beyond the two!

Walking

Great little trail. Easy walk to suspension bridge. We walked to Timberland Lake. Mostly nice trek. Nothing special at lake. Returned to Haslam Creek and found great spots for picnics.

Nice easy walk to the bridge for the kids. Lovely view down to the river. Please note that you drive past a gate on an unpaved logging road.

This is a great trail if your looking for something casual. The waterfalls are beautiful at the end, make sure you step to the right of the first waterfall to check out the second waterfall. It’s easy to miss if you don’t know about it.
