It was a beautiful day for this short hike! The water is running high right now, so be careful around it, but the mud has nearly all cleared up during our hot spell. Easy, pretty hike to the falls!

Great hike to start off the hiking season. It’s pretty easy hike with not a lot of hills. Children can complete this hike with out a problem. Can get really muddy after a rain fall.

Nice hike, but no markings or signs for guidance. Thankfully someone else we ran into gave us directions how to get back. Ended up cutting through downhill mtn bike trails, eventually running into a bear at the powerline clearing. Good times.. I guess

What a beautiful flipping trail!! Not to hard. Not too long. beautiful lookouts. So pretty along the water.

We tried to do this hike last Saturday (April 21). It is a nice hike which goes up to the mountain. Unfortunately, in this park, trails are not very well marked so we bought the book "Burke and Widgeon a hiker guide" which has a super detailed description of each trail. Almost all time we walked in a water from streams and 3-4 times you need to cross a bigger creeks. A spare pair of socks was handy. Make sure your shoes are waterproof too. Unfortunately, we did not finish the journey. The last river to cross was too deep and the current is too swift. So we will come back later after snow melts. We did a loop to come back to the parking lot. Entire trip was 4 hours, 10 km with about 400 m elevation gain.

Trail was muddy on Sunday, but still really enjoyable with the kids

very pleasant walk

One of my favorites! Lots of families out enjoying minnekhada yesterday. And warnings of bear sightings from others on the trail.

Not the most well-marked trail around, went on a few down-hill biking paths as unintentional detours, but there was service most of the way so we were able to follow the map when we were led astray. This could be avoided by paying closer attention to trail markers. Nice hike in the rain. Beautiful forest scenery.

From the road you want the trail on the left that has a white marker that says “12” on it - park & walk up there and you’ll find signs to guide you.

Definitely need waterproof hiking boots - lots of loose ruble, pinecones and snow up top (lots of it). Plus, it requires walking through some creeks and muddy spots. The snow up top was quite deep and coming down was a bit slippy, so you need to be careful of where you’re stepping.

Hiking to the lake was generally all up hill with fairly consistent markers, but closer to the top it splits into different trails so pay close attention to signs that indicate which trail you’re on (you want the one that has the “M” on it).

Fun trail. Not too hard. Close to Poco.

It's not a hard trail with mountain biking path, but we only finished 2/3 and then gave up because there are many signs writing "Darger! Active shooting range". We were afraid of being shot...

Enjoyed this trail today. Was worried about having a muddy hike but aside from a few puddles this trail was not bad.

Great even in early spring

Great trail to take out the pup. Definitely muddy but fun none the less. Relatively easy.

Easy hike. But can get mucky in the fall/winter especially when crossing the little streams.

Unbelievable view from the lookout. Used snow shoes for the first time near the top and it was lots of fun. Fell down a lot coming back down in the snow (I’m relatively inexperienced) but it was super rewarding and an all around great experience. Took me almost 4 hours up at a leisurely pace and 1.5 down.

Easy walk. Great to get the family outdoors. A little hidden gem. Can’t wait to go there in the summer and catch some of the water pools. Car a coyote while on the trail

A lot of fun out there. Had to go solo since my hiking partner got scared of the bear warnings. No worries

Trail is in good shape. Lots of h20 along the route if you want to filter/treat vs pack it in. No garbage along trail as stated in previous review (thank you whomever cleaned it up). A steep clim right off the bat which continues to ridge (two hours and 2600 feet). Lots of snow up to so be prepared.

Good solid hike. Prepare for a climb though. When I went there was snow close to the top. There is markers on the trail, but it can be easy to accidentally make it onto other trails.

Good inclines for trail running.

Another gorgeous day to enjoy the hi-Knoll Trail. Lots of families out and about last weekend. The look out was higher than the fog.

Good easy hike, not much of a challenge, kid friendly.

Someone really needs to put up some trail markers, at least to navigate through the little trails that lead into the forest! I got through the trail using the GPS on my phone (not ideal) and then I ended up coming out of the trail 20 minutes walk from the entrance I started at. Would have been more enjoyable if I didn't have to stop at every intersection and check the route.

Also, it's an off leash trail! Tons of signs indicating that.
