The trail as depicted on this route is pretty blah. Easy to get lost on, poorly marked. Much better route is to connect the Bear Bait, Nymph Falls, and River Trail on the north side of the river. Much more scenic and better marked.

Great way to spend the day hiking and soaking up the scenery.

We liked this hike! Some good views of the lake, nice beach spot at the bottom. Bit of a work out but not too tough.

A bit too busy.

Awsome loop, perfect for trail running. We started at the parking slot and went on the right trail for the loop. We prolong the loop at lake kwai and went to the canyon lookout (totally worthy the additional km). It's a out and back trail with beautyfull landscape and amazing view at the lookout. We finished the loop from lake kwai. Distance: 20 k / time: 3.00 h in a easy running pace.

Nice hike. Pretty casual walk running parallel to the Lake shore but quite high up for the most part. Many good view points out over the lake.

Hard trail to go up but the way down is fast and furious. Got on the trail near comox dam and came back on the dirt road. Guards told us it was an active logging road as we are riding out of the forest. Funny guy

Took my kids and their friends (10-12 years old) mountain biking from the falls to comox dam and back. It was a couple hours well spent with a swim at both ends

Awesome spot to escape the rain from comox often need 4x4 to make the last 1/2 km in the winter or a set of chains. take the family sledding for the day in the snow. Rain at sea level is normally snow there in the winter.
Bring some fire wood or a portable BBQ, all kinds of sledding stuff and spend the day outdoor with the family. Promise of a great night sleep after

One of the best downhill around 3.5 hr down hill and 1.5 he to the dam. And theirs a fm hidden rope swing down by the water once you hit the service road

Smooth trail that takes you from the city to the lake. Slight elevation gains and smooth track the whole way make it an enjoyable ride for any skill level.

Good bunch of trails to ride with a beginner. There are some slight technical spots, but it's mostly your choice to hit them. Trails lead to across the road from seal bay park.
