First hike of 2019! Nice little trail with really pretty views :)

Great views. Hike for all ages.

Pretty awesome hike for Dec 29. 9 degrees and no snow. Beautiful. Nice trails. Well marked.

Great hike today. Almost missed the trail start going up hill, but this app saved the day to put us back on. Enough trail markers / ribbons to keep us on the right trail to the top.

Definitely a good leg workout (i was feeling the burn for sure haha) especially near the end. Beautiful view once you make it up :)

Great reward for the effort required. The final stretch is challenging for beginners, but doable. Hiking poles are a must, and microspikes are beneficial. Beautiful views!
(There is Y junction in the road about a km past the bridge and the correct trail is to the right up the mountain- it is marked by a cairn).

Nice quick hike. Need to pay close attention to actual trail and ribbons. lots of different trails go off main one and can get off trail fast. when starting you need to cross small creek and trail is to the left. Great views from the top

on Mount Hoffman Trail

Beautiful fall day! Microspikes would’ve been nice in a few spots. Most places dry and snow free! What a beautiful panoramic view at the top. Will be doing this one again!

Late October hike. 4-wheel vehicle best. Beautiful day for a hike, 20C, app kept us on the trail as far as we went. Not always easy to see Trail. Mix of melting snow. Would do it again.

went in late September after it had rain almost constantly for 2 weeks the road there a little muddy nothing my rwd car couldn't do with ease. The trail is awesome with great views till about 1 km away and then it just disappears which sucks

Easy access, clearly visible route, decent incline, shelter by trees, nice views, lots of wildlife... good, easy trail.

Easy hike with lovely views of the waterfalls right at the beginning. A moderate grade of a hike - easy for beginners. A lovely surprise of mountain views once you summit. Nobody else on the trail today!

Great hike for beginners. Gradual inclines until the top. Very steep, hiking poles are a must. Windy up at the top but the view is gorgeous.

Only people on the trail today! Not sure what trail others were speaking of with signs?!?! No signage we saw. After you cross the bridge keep left, after about 15 min keep looking right as the trail is sneakily tucked in (by a pile of rocks)! We were chatting too much we completely missed it and had to back track.

Good hike. Need to realy watch for trail split. Seen a bear, cattle... Did the hike clockwise. overall a nice relaxing day. Cattle is roaming in woods. Can startle you around a corner

The hike up was OK. In the trees the whole time. Even with the holiday weekend the trail was not too busy. The views from the top are spectacular and worth the walk through the trees. A good shorter hike.

Steep one for sure. Great views. The trail thins out and is a bit rocky at the top. We had two ravens following us the whole time. We spotted a black bear and three deer from our advantage point.

Our favourite new hike in the Sheep area. The views of the waterfall as you cross the bridge at the start and the views from the summit are amazing. It took us 3 hrs to hike this trail and there's a steep section 3/4 of the way up that challenged us but the views from the top are worth it! On the way back instead of turning left to go back on the main trail we went right for 100m and took a much needed break in a little stream that helped us and the dog cool off. After that we turned around and went back to the trailhead. I look forward to exploring more trails in this area but it's going to be tough to beat this one.

Finished the loop today with my family (husband and teenagers). Flat portion in had quite a few cows in the pasture, so you had to watch where you stepped. The gorge is really beautiful. Entering the fork in the road we chose to hike the loop counter clockwise (right). A few grizzly tracks in the wet portions of the trail, but they were old and the only animals we saw were the cows and a grouse. Good elevation up to the top will get you feeling like you are burning calories but stunning views once you get there. Nicely maintained trail, well marked, saw two other people at the top.

Terrific views and a nice walk for all ages

Great hike. Can easily be done in 3 hrs. Some steep areas maybe 600 metres from summit. Well marked trail. Just keep an eye out on trail before turning right to start heading to Mount Hoffman. Busy trailhead on weekend. Get there by 9-930 and no issues. Well worth it for the views at the top

This was a beautiful summit hike. Once we got to go to Lookout point and started making our way back to trail, unfortunately it wasn’t very clearly marked and we got a bit lost. thankfully we had the Alltrails app and were able to relocate the rest of the trail. Highly recommend that you go counter clockwise loop heading up the volcanic Ridge on the way up that way you get a nice walk back.

Great view once at the top. There were a couple of steep parts but the trail is quite clear. We’ll do this again some day.

Great hike if you want something easier. Had some beautiful views

It’s hard to give it a real review because I didn’t make it very far. Maybe 6 of the total km... I just had an uneasy feeling so I turned around... I made it back to the clearing and little creek and encountered THREE large (very large) grizzly bears. It was just me and my dog. She was on leash and thankfully I didn’t startle them. It was very unnerving to be out numbered. One seemed interested in my dog and I but I just kept talking in a calm, yet slightly louder (not shouting) voice and told it it needed to go back up that hill. It listened and we were able to pass and they turned around after following us for a short while.

I would have enjoyed seeing more... it was a pretty easy yet muddy hike. Horses had been through earlier that day. The trailer was still there.

Beautiful views and great length and elevation. Nothing is marked so you have to rely on All Trails to start you off OK. However about 3/4 into the hike you have to use tracks that are not considered part of High Noon if you want to get the best views. It is bear country, saw a mom and two cubs and had to wait quite a while while the cubs got to the same side of the trail as the mom.

Did this hike on June 9th, 2018. Took us about 4 hours with lots of time spent on top but could probably be done in 3 with minimal breaks.
Head west and cross the bridge, then take the trail on the left. For the first 1.2 km its basically flat, then a slow incline up until the last bit. There is a very steep section towards the end, only a few hundred meters long but I wouldn't recommend taking anyone who's knees might not be able to handle it. Then from there its another 1-2km of dead fall that leads to an open field.
Very easy hike, except that small steep section. Little effort for the amazing views you get!

I hiked the unofficial trail up to the south ridge and then beyond to Volcano Ridge. This is a great hike with beautiful views. The trail is reasonably well marked. At about 2.5 k after entering the trees you cross a creek and the trail splits. Take the right hand fork and a few metres in look for flagging for a trail to the left and up thru pines.

On a muddy day after a morning rain and a wet couple of days before, we hiked this trail starting at the Information Centre and went clockwise. It's a relatively easy trail with only one short steep uphill section and the rest just rolls along. I would rate this as easy instead of the intermediate ranking it currently has. My only complaint of the trail is that there isn't much of a viewpoint on any part of it. Muddy conditions prevented us from exploring any of the other trials in this network but we will be back during drier conditions. There was only one other hiking group on the trail so we pretty much had it all to ourselves!

Shorter trail with rewarding views!
