Hiked this one on Labour Day Monday. Pretty straightforward, uncomplicated hike. The trail is an 8-foot wide dirt/gravel road that you follow all the way up to the fire lookout, so impossible to get lost. The last third of the hike gets steeper and is a bit of a lung-burner, but apart from that, a fairly easy hike. Views from the top aren't too bad, but there are no views at all on the way up as the entire trail is in the trees. There is a picnic table at the top of you want to stop for some lunch. You can also sit on the helipad. If you like quiet hikes, this could be the one for you, as I did the whole thing up and down and saw nobody. In general, not a bad hike, but nothing special about it either.

My SIL and I did this today while wearing my 10month old twins. Took us 2 hours up and about 1:45 down. Mostly all gravel road, mostly treed and a decent fair climb, not crazy but it’s long. There’s a bridge that’s been taken out, so there’s a little 4’ creek you have to cross, which we did by walking on rocks and never got wet. It’s not deep right now. Lots of wild horse poop and we saw some deer. Nice view at the top for a picnic.

We made it up and back in 4:15, including a lunch stop. Pretty easy hike. You work up a bit of a sweat between km 4 -7. There is no way to get lost as you follow a road up. The walk back down seemed to go on forever. I would say it is an easy hike but a long distance.

This was my first hike. The majority of it was great as a beginner, but the last 2km or so were quite the incline. Well defined paths and some great scenery.

Great hike, not much to see on the way up, the trees are fairly tall, but the end is amazing.

Took us 4hrs to get to the top and back down. Nice view at the fire station up there. There Was a picknick table and heli pad at the top. We stopped and had lunch. Was a little muddy/icy still but expected this time of year. Very easy service road style trial all the way to the top.

About 4.5 hrs with a lunch break at the top. Not much of a view throughout or even at the top all obscured by trees

An enjoyable hike, though icy in the late winter/early spring. Like many look out hikes, the road provides you with a very defined trail. Great end view. From the gate, round trip, it's about 16km.
