It was a great short fall hike with family and friends, enjoyed the weather and the sound of water and falls

It was a beautiful day for a short hike. Nice scenery but lots of ice on the trail.

My friend and I did these trails today. I must say these views are amazing!!!

Great easy hike! My dogs love it! Doesn't take long but is a nice walk. Does get quite busy recently, so head out early or later in the afternoon

its an easy trial for young children and old alike. a good choice close to city and relaxing nature walk.can go two rounds if you have time.

Toddler's Paradise! Tons of rocks and logs to climb and little waterfalls to look at. Trail is very manageable and absolutely beautiful with the leaves starting to change.

Great walk/hike with the dog

Beautiful easy hike. Nice clear water, with a few falls.

Very beautiful with the colors of the trees! Loved it!

This is a beautiful place for beginners and so family and kid friendly. All the little waterfalls make for a nice walk in the park and Photography.

Loved the waterfall and the first half of the loop. The ridge is eroded and not as well marked.

Great hike and beautiful scenery!

5 min drive from my house so I take my dog every morning! Great exercise hike, just wish it was a bit longer (takes about 25 mins) - can extend by doing it twice (forward/backward). Starts getting busy around 9am in summer, bit later in spring/fall. Bugs are bad in the evening in summer. Quite icy in winter but can do with ice cleats.

Awesome little trail with tons of waterfalls for the puppy to play in!

Nice, easy, hike

Stunning m. Feels like you are deep in the woods.

Its in good shape this year despite the hot summer. Great little quick hike.

beautiful stream. easy walk with kids.

Very basic hike, but I enjoy escaping to here once or twice a year. Great if you don’t want anything strenuous, or are physically limited or have small children! Fun to walk around with your thoughts if it’s not too busy and there are some nice small waterfalls!

Easy hike with kids!

Great little hike but there is a lot of people there

This is a nice, short walk that's not too far out of Calgary. An easy place to bring folks who aren't used to hiking; very family friendly. There was a big group having a BBQ at the base of the trail the day we went - lots of kids splashing in the water and parents chatting around the picnic tables.

Another quick, easy hike for the family new to hiking. I love coming here in the fall when the leaves are changing. Makes for beautiful pics. Lovely falls near the beginning of the trails. Fun for kids.

Arrived around 10:15 am on a Sunday and parking lot was almost full. Trails were not too busy though. This is a nice easy short walk. I brought my puppy and she loved the trail. It was muddy in some spots but not too bad. I have done this trail in almost every season and it’s beautiful every time!

Perfect day great trails!

I do these trails several times a year with my dog, recommend early start as can get hot in summer months (limited shade on path and no water supply unless down near the river - so bring enough). always lots of entertaining prairie dogs and saw a young moose at the cochrane end a couple of months ago...

Really easy path, walking slow and steady took 1.5-2hrs. Really kid friendly. Dog friendly. Easy parking, washrooms in parking area.

I have walked here a couple of times and really enjoy it. There are some great views of the river, Rockies and the town of Cochrane. Some paved and some crushed gravel trails with some decent hills to conquer. There are interpretive trails telling you about the history of the area and a neat old chimney from one of the first settlers. The park is close to home and even when the parking lot seems busy I didn’t find the trails crowded at all. I’ll definitely head here again!

Nice easy hike for pretty much anyone. You can choose your path based on your skill level. Great history to be seen from the old butter churn.

Was there mid July. Was very busy. Nice place for a hot summer day if you have a couple hours to drive minutes outside the city.
