Great beginner hiking path, had some cow patties from the cows that roam the area. Great views of the mountains and river.

Beautiful long walk. You must go down to the river to picnic! the trails are mostly paved so it's stroller friendly. I love the horses and I've seen coyotes there too. I've been here at least twice. there are washrooms in the parking lot.

Huge park. Lots of room for the dog to play around.

Did this pkwy (+Bow River) over 4 days on my cyclocross bicycle. Started in Banff and finished in Jasper, staying at Morraine Lake Lodge, Num Ti Je lodge, Glacier lodge and Jasper Park lodge. Phenomenal ride. If you think the scenery is gorgeous in a car, plan doing it on a bike and enjoy a trip of a lifetime. Even Sunwapta Pass was enjoyable (looking back!).

Really nice walk down by the river. We only did a short walk and went for ice cream afterwards.

Amazing ride to start the season. can't wait for 2018 season. Still some snow near summit.

It was a short and fairly easy trail, great for snowshoeing (do not need snowshoes, but definitely helps near the end of the trail). Only 2 view points, didn't last long and were not great.

Take the guided hike on Athabasca Glacier. It is awesome. Dress warm and tread lightly. Glad they gave us crampons. My profile pic is of my wife and me on this glacier.

Drive from Lake Louise to the Athabaska Glacier and hiked to the toe of the Glacier. Loved it

Snow shoed this trail on monday in January, great deals on hotels during the week. No one was on it and it was fairly easy. It was snowing in town so couldn't get a good view but was still a nice experience and a good work out.

Beautiful area for hiking. Lots of opportunities to put some mileage on your hiking shoes! I’d recommend carrying crampons in the winter, as there can be icy patches throughout the ranch’s trails. I’ve never been here in all the time I’ve lived in Calgary, but I’ve used it 3 days in a row, and logged 35 kilometres! I can’t wait to see it in the summer, and the river has thawed!

Great trail system close to home, great biking and hiking opportunities. Great views of the river and railway... Depending on the time of year you'll also see the cows grazing in the fields.

A very easy and pleasurable hike. I did it in December and it was enjoyable.

Was a nice walk, groomed and paved trails. Dog friendly. Not my cup of tea but was nice afternoon outing.

Fantastic views all the way along the trail. Trail is paved and perfect for walking, biking, strollers, wheelchairs etc. You can take the path from near the park entrance, all the way down into the townsite.

I love running the path along the stream to see the grandfather tree and looping back to hit the hill. Great place for trail running

Better for bikes than walking with kids. Bike traffic can be heavy on weekends and rush hour times. very nice for inner city walk during quiet times

this is great views from the top and a good workout!

This is a very nice fall walk in the forest with kids (9 & 11) and a puppy. Great views at the end and a nice rock to sit and have a snack before heading back. Very similar to Tunnel Mountain in distance and elevation but way less people which I personally enjoyed.

All paved trails, great for relaxing walking or easy biking.

Trail is great and not too busy for a Saturday in August. You are definitely in the woods a lot and the summit is not amazing, but a good not-too-hard hike with 2 kids under 10.

Quick little hike nice view from the summit.

Did this with my daughters and our dog over the weekend. It was a nice walk with a few small elevation changes with most of the change as you leave / come back to the trail head / parking lot. Kid and dog friendly with nice views of the countryside and the mountains if on a clear day.

Some of the most stunning scenery in the whole world!

Beautiful but hot and wide open.

For an inner city hike in Edmonton, it's pretty decent.

Trails are nice but partly closed due to some cattle guy who drives down the path FAST with his caste trailer without any regard for bikers WTF?
