Just took my two dogs with my sister, awesome trail, lots of up and down. Took us about 2 hours to do the longer trail and loop around. Great little hike if you don't have the whole day to be out!

Very very busy trail.

This was actually a loop trail we did snowshoeing in February. The trail was well packed and marked through thick forests. Either direction you go will be a good climb up with some level areas. The views at the summit were amazing. Beautiful forests and mountain views make this a great hike for people in fairly good shape!

nice spot

I enjoyed this one a lot - such pretty habitat in full autumn splendour. A good moderate work out. There are mo water taps, so don't forget your bottle!

Not impressed

Very pretty landscape. Mountains, prairies, cattle, CP rail trains, River, trees, wild life… Pretty much everything Alberta has to offer all in one spot. Pathways are all gravel or paved so I would describe it as more of a walk than a hike.

A beautiful drive with so many places to stop and see along the way!!

Short, under an hour up, hike through thick woods on trail with lots of roots which didn't seem to stop the dozen or so bikers we saw grinding their way up. Not much of a clear view point at the top, but worth the exercise. Missed the trail as it veered a sharp left about 200m from summit, the trail follows a small ridge straight at this section, it's well travelled and easy to do, until you realize you're walking down when you shouldn't be. The trail does loop around back to the main after going past the summit.

Wow! Gorgeous!!
