Feb.7,2019.very nice snowshoeing experience. rent snowshoes from the North American Lodge near the Tube Park. snow is about ankle deep. the view from the peak is awesome in sunny days! be aware of the roots and rocks hidden under the snow. Trekking poles will make the hike much easier as some areas are pretty steepy and I fell down for couple of times.most of the time we hiked in the woods. it's like walking in the winter wonderland. will definitely come back.

mind-blowing drive! beautiful beginning to end, allow at least 10 hours to stop at the waterfalls and viewpoints on your way to Jasper!

Very easy snowshoe trail. The snow was already packed and made it quite easy to hike. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great and we could hardly see anything at the look out. For sure it would have been a nice view :-)

The nicest drive on the planet

love this little bird sanctuary. The south side was flood by high water all of 2018

Just a small part of the massive trail system our city has. Nice walk along the scenic bow river. Great for dog walkers and families. Plenty of parks along the way to just sit and relax, throw the ball or have a picnic lunch

It’s a long walk. Lots of areas without shade. If it’s a hot day, make sure you bring sunscreen and lots of water.
We did this one in June. Our dog loved it; she is a short-hair. My friend’s great pyrenees dog got rashes because it was too hot for him.

Trail was packed down. Nice light snow fall during the hike.

Not the most scenic or exciting. Very busy trail. Not worth going out of your way for, but, an alright option if you live nearby.

Nice walk in the woods with a great view of the Bow valley east of Banff. Trail was ankle deep in snow. I used grippers but they probably weren't necessary. I like to wear them because sometimes the roots and rocks hidden under the snow can be slippery. Weather was grand. Temperature was +3C at the top of the trail, sunny, little wind. We took about an hour up and a half hour back with sometime at the top. Beautiful view of Cascade Mountain at the top.

This app only shows ¼ of how big the trail actually is... quite disappointing.

Nice trails but if you are visiting and don’t know the area, have the map ready.

Nice easy to follow trail. the dogs enjoyed it also. ì too would rate it easy moderate. snow packed Ì would recommend icer's.

Very good tool to find trails!

A very picturesque, easy and short trail.

A great trail. Amazing view of the city, yet you feel like you’re in the woods.

My friend and I did these trails today. I must say these views are amazing!!!

A nice trail... worth the views on a clear day. Slippery today as we hiked it in September but still easy to navigate. Got the the top and decided to do the loop instead of heading back down same way we came in. Completeing the loop only adds 0.8 km to the hike and provided some different views on the way back. Only slightly more difficult terrain on the far side of the loop so personally I think it's worth looping rather than retracing your steps back down again.

Beautiful trail and views.

We hiked this trail in the snow and although we couldn’t see much from the top due to clouds and snow coming down, it was a beautiful hike through the trees. It’s always nice to be the first footprints into freshly fallen snow and the quiet since we were the only ones on the trail was refreshing. We did not do the loop since the snow was making it a little bit harder to follow the trail. It was rated moderate but I would call it an easy moderate.

Very beautiful with the colors of the trees! Loved it!

One of the most scenic routes of the world!
Definitely worth stopping at several lakes or view points like Bow lake, Peyto lake and many other small lakes.

Great inner city escape with nice views. I like to run there with my dogs (on-leash) as the path is wide enough. I typically avoid afternoon weekends as it can get busy.

Nice for bike paths , took my 6 year old and she loved it .
Very busy path on weekends.

Love walking this . Very easy and great escape in the city. Do this in summer and in fall when You see all the leaves turn colours.

Great hike and beautiful scenery!

Great start from the village, we only went as far as Mount Kidd RV park and had to turn back due to timing. Nice grade, curves, and scenery. As a beginner rider I found this trail just challenging enough but not too exerting. The descent from the village is nice, the climb back up would need to be walked by some.

Nice paths to follow through the trees. A nice little escape from the hustle and bustle.
