Ranchland No 66, Alberta Map

The trail was hard to see in spots but it was relatively straight forward. Nice little half day hike and a decent view at the end.

The trail is unmarked but the directions on this ap are correct. When you park at the trailhead take the wagon trail that heads northwest and basically follow the fence line along the ridge. The start of the trail is quite steep and overgrown but once you reach the top, it is fairly well defined...likely a wildlife trail as it is quite narrow. There are plenty of ups and downs and the views across the ranch land to the west and the Cowboy Trail are spectacular. We went in late June...the wildflowers were amazing. You’ll know you’re at the end of the trail when you reach the huge rock on the other side of the barbed wire fence. We hopped over the fence, climbed up on the rock and took in the full panoramic view. Total hike there and back was only about 4-5 km but the uphill stretches gave us a good workout.

After an hour drive - could not find the trail and no marked trail or roads? Not impressed with the directions for this app.
