Went with my dog and significant other on October 21st. The weather was amazing.
There was some snow, ice and mud. So, good foot wear is ideal.
We did summit and it was absolutely beautiful.
The trail was well marked.
There are some places with a bit of scrambling and steepness.

What an amazing hike. Cool weather but was worth it. Did go all the way to summit.

Great Hike! Not an easy one. My dog and I took about an hour and half to get up. Would recommend for anyone looking for beautiful views and a bit of a challenge.

Trail is pretty easy to follow.

Short but steep hike takes you to the summit pretty quickly. Amazing views along the way, with options for extended ridge walks at the top.

Incredibly well-maintained trail with a fast ascent and epic views! Perfect for a mid-morning hike. About two hours to the summit, worth heading to the true summit to the east to get the view of the plateau. Be sure to bring a shell jacket - the winds are fierce up top.

really great 3 hour hike!! definitely should be listed as moderate, not easy. will do again!!

A really nice hike, good incline. The trail is fairly easy to follow, it's marked pretty well. The hike only takes a few hours but the view is absolutley worth it!

Beautiful, a bit of a steep climb which can be slippery coming down for a less experienced hiker.

Great two day hike with camping at Ruby Lake at the end of the valley. Quiet, remote area - no other hikers than my son and me. We meet only two groups of horseback riders.

It's a tough one, basically straight up then down. Still beautiful scenery all around and an amazing view from the top.

This is a good hike. Definitely a steep one. Unfortunately it was smokey when we were up there so the view wasn’t as good as I’m sure it is.

Pretty great hike! Not a ton to look at on the way up but the climb was definitely worth it! The view at the top was awesome!

Definitely a toughie for us less experienced individuals, but our 9 year old managed it, we just slowed down on the more challenging parts - like where we ran into lots of scree. Lots of dogs on this one when we climbed. Very popular so expect lots of people.

Wow! This trial was well worth it! You start off from the Group Camping site and walk past a group picnic area to Homesteader Trail Loop. You go uphill for just under 1 km and come to a fork in the path, go left following the orange diamonds that say “Mt Albert”. After that you get a little bit of everything: forest paths, uphill, narrow switchbacks, almost scrambling up a rocky path, steep bits. The view at the top is wonderful. Coming down it’s steep and there is some screw. For this reason I would not rate the hike as easy. The remainder of the descent is beautiful through meadows, forest, and beside pond. The trial is marked well on the way up and a little confusing on the way down but there are enough signs to make sense of it all. Did this with my 47 lb dog, and husband (I’ll leave his weight out...). Great half day hike.

Definitely a challenging hike, constant climb with some fairly steep sections, I really enjoyed the changes in terrain and the scenery is great, most people seem to only go to the start of the plateau, but if you continue to the right to the far peak the views get better, and the trail is easy going now until the end. The trail is well marked up to the plateau but a little hard to follow beyond especially when you need to find your way through the trees, but definitely worth going the extra distance. You have not truly completed Table Mountain until you reach the survey marker at the peak.

Definitely would recommend planning a trip on a day that is less windy, lots of steep areas, beautiful view

Rocky trail and very uphill. Not a super long hike but definitely not an easy one. The view at the top is well worth it tho. Take plenty of water and snacks. It gets hot when you leave the tree line

Good uphill climb most of the way but the view is spectacular and worth the climb.
About 2hrs to the plateau and another 45ins.to the top of Table Mountain.
Trail is well marked but get there early as it gets busy after10:00.
Take plenty of water and that INCLUDES water for your dog.

Beautiful hike. Lots of wildflowers on the way up. A bit windy at the top. Well worth the effort.

Fantastic hike! Fairly steep towards the end but the view is entirely worth it. The trail could be marked better so allow yourself extra time to find it.

Fantastic hike! Definitely was a challenge of my fitness but SO worth it when you get to the top!!!
The views as you go up are mesmerizing, and the panoramic view at the top is just breath taking.
We took our dog with us, which made it a bit tricky, as he’s still a pup and tends to pull on the leash, which is a bit scary as you’re trying to climb up or down the trails.
The trails are primarily gravel and rock. Some spots are quite steep. The trails are quite narrow, people hike with dogs, so please keep your dogs on a leash the entire time! Even if they are well behaved.

The only criticism I have is I wish the trail was better marked. There were a few spots that we were not sure where go to. Thankfully we ran into people on the trail that knew where they were going, so we followed them for a bit.

Went into this trail not knowing what to expect, until we topped out on a huge cliff overlooking beaver mines Lake. Easily one of the best views I've ever experienced. Follow the orange circles for the best way up and don't get lured in to going up the scrambles at the end. Great view of castle mountain to the south as well!

Really well marked trail all the way to the top! Made it up in an hour and 30 minutes. Great views through out and excellent at the top!

We absolutely loved it! The scrambles were a bit tricky in places but views were phenomenal!
