So rewarding

Still covered with a bit of ice, the lake was still beautiful.

May 18, 2018, after lake agnes tea house trail is covered under the snow. And lake louise, mirror lake and agnes lake are still covered in ice. Maybe it would be better to go there couple weeks later

May 18, 2018 mud and snow with a little dry spots. I would recommend to get some grip-ons, just to make it safer. However, my friends were in skateboard sneakers and they have completed the trail.

Amazing views, pictures could never do it justice.

Nice short hike. The path is still snow-covered.

19th may : road to Moraine Lake closed. Departure of the trail since Louise lake.

Walked this trail several times in different seasons. Last time the lake was frozen.
Always a beautiful walk!

One of the most gorgeous hikes in this area, along with Lake Agnes - Tea House Hike.

5/17 would recommend crampons. Great hike!

Very easy hike on a nice, well maintained trail. Lake Louise is absolutely phenomenal with epic views of the mountains surrounding.

Awesome, I do it all the time

A nice short hike. Less than an hour round trip. The trail was still snow covered on 5/12/18 and the lake completely frozen. Hiking boots needed and cleats would have been helpful but not necessary.

Our fav hike with 2 kids (9 and 11), slippery after mirror lake.

Hiked 5/1/18. Easy trail. Your mom could do it. It’s all hard packed snow so it’s a little slipping and sliding but there’s no elevation at all. The view from the other end and along the way is worth it only because the trail is so short

Hiked it 5/2/18. Still plenty of snow on the ground but it’s very hard packed due to all the traffic. Some people might appreciate extra traction from micro spikes, but most folks will be fine going all the way up in just boots.
All in all the hike up wasn’t that strenuous and took 35 minutes at most, The view is all right but unfortunately the left side of the vista is obscured by trees so you end up seeing mostly the front of the lake and the hotel, which, who cares about the hotel? I was hoping for a full view of the entire leg and was a little disappointed about that

Good hike to do with the family. Simply fantastic views for such a short hike.

Nice ride, not a good idea for beginners. I’ve done this trail 3 times & would do it again! A lot of ups & downs, a couple water crossings. You can take the old transcanada highway back from Ross lake to make it a loop. The trailhead can be tricky to find as it starts off as a horse trail(very muddy and gross) behind the Lake Louise fairmont.
Enjoy!

Just did this trail yesterday. Crampons are a must. Beautiful views made the difficulty of uphill in ice and snow worth it! Tea house is closed and covered up in snow. But we had a snack break of our own on the porch and enjoyed the views! Breathtaking is a literal word I would use in describing this trail.

Yes amazing track! If you have the legs, add little behive (and potentially St Piran). But this includes the best. In fact, the 6 glacier was for me the biggest dissappointment of this whole loop

It's a great hike but not the best around. Try to include all little extra, like little behive. We did The little and big beehive, Lake agnes, highline trail and came back via plain of six glaciers. Big day, filled with amazing views.

If you have to choose between St Piran or fairview, go for fairview. But if you are able to do all I said in a day, then go for the big tour.

Absolutely worth it, one of the best around. A bit of a butt kicker by the end, but worth it. Nice view of both side of the mountain. We also included fairview lookout, but you could probably skip that.

Nice and easy, nice view of the lake, but there is much nicer around.

It's a great hike! You can easily add highline and plain of the 6 glaciers. But this exact descrption includes all the best in the area (except fairview...take a second day and do it!). We did The little and big beehive, Lake agnes, highline trail and came back via plain of six glaciers. Big day, filled with amazing views

It's a great hike, don't get me wrong. But considering the amazing ones around, I give that only 4 stars. The best is to find a way to add it to something else. We did The little and big beehive, Lake agnes, highline trail and came back via plain of six glaciers. Big day, filled with amazing views

It's a great hike, don't get me wrong. But considering the amazing ones around, I give that only 4 stars. The best is to find a way to add it to something else. We did The little and big beehive, Lake agnes, and then this trail through highline trail. Big day, filled with amazing views

It was a great hike! Adding the extra distance from eiffel lake is absolutely worth it! Nice valley, and it's special to cross to BC. A must do hike in the area. We also added the sentinel pass in the same day - very realistic to do both, and worth it. If I'd do only one, it would be the Wenkchemna Pass. But Sentinel pass plus mount temple would be even nicer.

Don't waste your time, there are much nicer hikes around there. It's a very easy stroll but there just isn't much to see.
