Hiking

Easy to moderate, a lot of uphill climb but with rocks that make it like stairs. We hiked clockwise and glad we did as the lakes get prettier as you go! Kids jumped in to icy waters at 5th lake off the dock. Wasn’t sure how social distancing would work on some of the narrow pathways but everyone was courteous while passing. Plenty of spots to rest and catch your breath. We had 9 of us ranging from age 7 to 77 and we all did well.

Hiking

A nice hike, busy at the start but very quiet for the last half on the way out. I would say on the easy side of moderate. We enjoyed it. 1 hour, 50 minutes with about a 20 min break at the turnaround point.

Hiking

Went on easy a family hike 2 weeks ago not much elevation, anyone can easily walk this trail! There is a total of 6 bridges you go over to see the caynon. The best part for me is ENTIRE TRAIL walks along the flowing water!! We were able to stop and take lots of photos without anyone around us (covid times make it less busy/ less tourists). So if you are considering this trail now is the best time to see everything. Strongly recommend for kids and seniors will easily be able to walk this trail!

HikingGreat!

Great hike! We brought our dogs (as did quite a few of the other people we met) and it was a great hike for them (though our older dog did get tired near the end). We did see a couple people near the beginning of their hike (as we were finishing) who brought strollers though, and definitely would not recommend this as some parts can get quite steep and the trail definitely has some very rocky places and places with lots of roots. We skipped the first lake like many of the recommendations here.

Pretty relaxed hike until the last 1500m where it gets a little tough. My husband and I got to the summit in just less than 2hrs. Don’t wear runners, it’s really muddy in parts and it would probably go over the ankle. Western Canadians: this hike is not too difficult, longer than the grind or the chief but not as hard as either of them. Eastern Canadians: this hike will probably suck for you but it’s worth the view. Good workout and nice view, even though it was a little cloudy at the top!

What a great hike! Will be coming back here again. Loved all the waterfalls and trails. A little congested at the beginning with all the photo spots. Not too tough of a hike.

Mountain bikingRockyWashed out

we headed out from Old Fort Point. I haven't been on the trail in 20 years. it's been eroded pretty bad. really rocky and rough. I was riding a 27.5+ hardtail. on the way back it started to rain heavily and the trails turned to creeks! what a crazy ride back. still a great trail!

Really fun trail. No sign of bears and pretty challenging with a relatively straight assault to the summit. It started raining on us and the mud made it a bit of a slower ascent and descent but we were still able to complete safely. Still some ice and snow in the upper tree line which made the final push a bit more challenging. Would recommend but bring some poles!

Beautiful walk. Fast running water and a few bridges, we even saw few elk quite close! (they were being shooed away by animal control). Very touristy though and people arent great a following the directional signs.

Great trail, no signs of any bears, small area of snow at the top to get to the summit but not anything to worry about.

Some lovely lakes, wildflowers, and great views. An easy trail that’s great for families. A few muddy areas that were easy to navigate and hardly any mosquitos!

Nice trail to first few bridges. I only went to ?bridge 4 I think. I just wasn’t as impressed given I had just been to Mistaya Canyon and Johnston Canyon. But still a great trail, but a LOT of people on the weekend when I went. Especially considering pandemic. Hate to see how busy when there’s international travellers too.

Muddy

Nice trail, busy as others have said. Straight up elevation returning on 7h (but due to that, very few people), and definitely worth it for the view. Muddy past 3rd down to 5th.
