This was a midday activity for me and there was lots of people around. The canyon is really cool to see and the walk is easy with only one short steep section.

My favourite hike I’ve done so far. Great views at the top.

Loved it!

Nice walk into the impressive canyon.
Don’t miss the trail 7h, if you want to go back to parking “Maligne Canyon”.

Amazing walk trough the canyon following the beautiful maligne river.

Nice trail, Signes cut be better, if you do the trail in the summertime remeber to bring swimwear, Nice lakes

Easy and nice. Colours, birds, squarels

Beautiful views ! Easy trail, go early it gets pretty crowded.

Nice trail if you do the trail in the summertime remeber to bring swimwear, beatuful lakes

Beautiful trail, but we stupidly took a wrong turn at one point and ended up on another trail (old fort point maybe) headed back towards Jasper. We never did see the other lakes after doing that.

Amazing views, great mix of rock hopping, wooded trails, and scramble! We took our dog and he absolutely loved it. Rock formations are great trail markers and it wasn’t hard to stay on track. Road in is a little sketchy and mosquitos/horseflies were plentiful

Good walk through the woods, the large loop is less crowded than the other

Even in the thunderstorm, tons of mosquitoes and packing in a 21lb baby this trail is a beauty. Very few people. Well worth it! We only went to the first falls at the head of the first lake because of time of day but would go back for sure!

Views were breathtaking and waters were crystal clear. Great hike with family and kids.

Easy walk with fantastic views into the canyon. So many waterfalls in one place! And the few park info signs throughout were nice for learning a bit about how the canyon formed. Crowd wasn't an issue for us, but we got there around 7am

Nice easy walk with great views of the lakes. We especially enjoyed the lake with the adirondack chairs set up to sit and quietly enjoy our surroundings for a few extra minutes.

Love this hike, it’s steep enough to make you work for it but also nice enough that my 4 year old was able to go up to the summit and down! Although at some point he proclaimed that it is harder than he thought it would be lol! We seeked the red chairs but weren’t there :(

lovely little hike

nice easy walk with some beautiful spots to take photos. the lakes are so amazingly beautiful

fantastic hike. a couple of steep sections, but the view is well worth it. we didn't do the long walk around the 1st lake, but I am sure it would have been nice also.

The scenery and in particular the waterfalls are awesome. We hiked to the second lake and back on a beautiful July day. Saw very few people. The trail is tougher than you might think with much rock hopping. The climb up to the second lake is quite something as is the decent. Not the trail to choose for breaking in your new boots. No issues for 2WD access today.

Amazing views off of both bridges 1 and 2. Sad we couldn’t do 3 through 6. Youngest’s legs were done after a couple of other sites.

Excellent short hike with excellent views of the river.

Solid trail as it's hard enough to give satisfaction, but not easy enough to be a stroll in the woods. Always the risk of seeing some wild animals is a bonus.

A good trail with great views, crowded at some points.

Started at Fifth Bridge. Leisurely walk along canyon side trail (7) to teahouse beyond First Bridge, taking advantage of steps when available. Impressive gorge with many photo opportunities. More crowded close to bridges 1-3. Returned via 7f. Trail a bit beat up at the beginning of 7 near Fifth Bridge and midway along steep slope part of 7f.

A great hike when you don't have much time. if you are especially short on time, just go up the stairs and turn around when you reach the summit. There is a second peak just farther on. It has a set of red chairs overlooking the Wildlife Only face of Signal Mountain. well worth sitting in. As most people turn back at the main summit, this a a nice quiet place. Instead of the loop or retracing your steps, head back along the ridge to find a steep and narrow trail taking you back close to the summit. Make noise! It's just the kind of place to find a bear munching away!
Bring your kids. Fort Point is rugged and the summit is rocky. Feels like you are above the tree line.

parked at the 5th bridge hiked to the tea shop and back. This hike was spectacular! I will definitely be back.

Beautiful views... BUT the effort is not worth it. There are many other hikes with just as beautiful of views, if not better to do that require a lot less effort. I’m all up for a challenge but the majority of the trail is boulders and large rocks. It was difficult to cross the boulders and slippery when wet. I would not recommend this hike and will not be returning to this hike unfortunately.
