Excellent short hike with excellent views of the river.

Solid trail as it's hard enough to give satisfaction, but not easy enough to be a stroll in the woods. Always the risk of seeing some wild animals is a bonus.

A good trail with great views, crowded at some points.

Started at Fifth Bridge. Leisurely walk along canyon side trail (7) to teahouse beyond First Bridge, taking advantage of steps when available. Impressive gorge with many photo opportunities. More crowded close to bridges 1-3. Returned via 7f. Trail a bit beat up at the beginning of 7 near Fifth Bridge and midway along steep slope part of 7f.

A great hike when you don't have much time. if you are especially short on time, just go up the stairs and turn around when you reach the summit. There is a second peak just farther on. It has a set of red chairs overlooking the Wildlife Only face of Signal Mountain. well worth sitting in. As most people turn back at the main summit, this a a nice quiet place. Instead of the loop or retracing your steps, head back along the ridge to find a steep and narrow trail taking you back close to the summit. Make noise! It's just the kind of place to find a bear munching away!
Bring your kids. Fort Point is rugged and the summit is rocky. Feels like you are above the tree line.

Nice easy hike. Walked past some big horn sheep near the summit too. Great views looking out over Jasper.

Nice easy hike. We didn't walk around the entire of Lake 1 as had read that the other 4 Lakes were much nicer. Lake 5 was beautiful with a wooden dock you would could out onto.

Great trail even though at certain points can be very crowded but overall would recommend to all.

We arrived around 12:30 and parking lot was full, but found a spot when someone left. Did the smaller loop over to 5th lake circling 2,3, and 4. Got back to the vehicle around 1:30 and 1/3 of the parking spots empty. Although lots of people there, it did not seem overly busy on the hike and it was easy to get the perfect picture without waiting for others.

Interesting hike. Pretty lake views.

Absolutely correct to bear left so you end up going down stairs. Your finish should be on trail 7h returning to the main parking lot. Unbelievable chasm. We liked the walk down with the river on our left.

Absolutely do this hike if you're in the Jasper area! When you arrive at the parking lot, I would recommend going up the left trail, up a set of stairs. That way it's a very gentle slope up, with gorgeous views all around. 10/10 hike!

Great trail! parked at bridge 5 then went towards bridge 2 (busy) then took 7H back its beautiful and not as busy.

Trail is rated as moderate, however the vast majority of it is relatively easy. If wet the trail can be muddy and the rocks can be slippery. There are a few different trails you can take to the same area. Heading from the 5th bridge back to the 1/2 bridge via trail 7H is very steep, however cuts the route down by approx. 400-600 meters. My wife and I always do this when we come to Jasper. Always a recommendation when in Jasper

Amazing views.

Not a challenging trail at all and heavily trafficked, but the views of the canyon and river make it worthwhile, 4 out of 5

Took the steep way first. Signage in the area says that leg of the trail is black diamond rated. Not easy at all, steep, rocky, narrow ridge. Would not recommend taking kids. Worth it though once you get to the top and see the view. Rest of the hike was fairly easy with a beautiful treed trail.

It's a nice, easy hike and you can add a bit of distance by incorporating some of the longer (~35km) hike. It's a good one for kids or with companions who aren't used to hiking. The color of the lakes...so blue your friends will think that the pictures were edited.

Really enjoyed this trail. A few ups and downs in the terrain, but nothing terribly challenging. Was just the right distance for me, my wife, and our 8mo old. A few good picturesque views along the way, particularly by the first, third, fourth, and fifth lakes.

We did this trail and it was a really good hike. There was a sign at the bottom which said its not recommended to do the trail because of snow. The little snow that there was at the upper third was totally fine. We started early and it was a beautiful sunny day.

We did this trail on May 19/18 and was absolutely amazing.

Easy hike for mostly everyone with spectacular views. Also a great hike in the winter months when you can explore the falls when frozen!

Busy until the 4th bridge but good afterwards, it was fun, our 5yo walked mo problem

First time was on May 1 2018 and it was a great time. Started the day with overcast but by noon it was 20c and sunny.
Will definitely be back soon.

Amazing views, steep in a couple spots but overall very easy trail, lots of good spots to get some amazing shots of the turquoise blue lakes. 100% worth it to take 2 hours out of your day for.

Did the ice walk with the family. Was absolutely beautiful! I recommend snow pants, ice cleats, and a helmet.

Winter hiking was beautiful!
