Still lots of snow and postholing up to the top, some dry areas and signs of bears were all over the place. Beware, bring spray going into the spring months. There was a slab of snow beneath the summit that I am sure will fall shortly so be careful on warmer days. All in all a great hike. Stamp is broken at the top - still worth it. Watched a nice snowstorm cloud surrounding us the whole way but never really hit thankfully.

Great trail in, and if you go left at the Moose antler, you can make it clear through to Mcbride, or Jasper

Easy trip, but be prepared to see lots of quads, and trucks.

Late summer trail. The snow is deep well into July. Amazing view of town, and Mt. Robson.

Amazing views, and very cool different ecosystems as you ascend and descend.

This is not a well maintained trail. It is not suitable for biking. It has also been washed out/away on the north side of the path along the river.

Here's the thing. You're looking over to Stearn, Ambler, Hamell, Lightning and Volcano. Even Louis. All with better reward / effort ratios. And to top it off, the Passport to the Peaks stamp is missing. Oh well, four hours car-to-car feels good.

Great views. Super interesting rocks. We hiked an alternate route. Many ways up and down Hamell.

One of the top three ridge walks I've ever done. This is one terrific hike.

Definitely worth the hike!

Quick and easy

It's not too difficult of a hike and the views are amazing. We went on a June weekend and there was still quite a bit of snow as you got higher up and fairly wet but not too bad.

The view is worth the hike up.

Came up the power line side. The mountain is a grind but the views from it are amazing. There’s nothing more disappointing than thinking you’re at the top just see that one last huge dip ahead of you though....otherwise it was totally worth it

Quaded in from the Beaver dam Rd. The ride was fantastic and the view from the top was even better. Rode off the back side to the Northeast- Trails consisted of old exploration roads - terrain was quite steep but worth the ride. Great view of the mine activities below.
