A beautiful unexpected bit of country side. A good dog walk for our 4 month old Goldie. Freezing weather didn’t put us off and luckily the sun was shining.
At the end of the trail are some beautiful houses to lust after too.

Very woody for the first half and the river isn't always visible coming back. Still, a pleasant walk.

lovely walk--though take your sunglasses!

A good mix of terrain: steep in some parts with flat ground in others. A spectacular view at the top of the hill and a nice walk through the forest at the bottom.

Enough people that it doesn't feel isolated, but not too busy.

I'll definitely be coming back!

love this trail just did it for the first time and will drive across the city to do it again.

Beautiful especially in October . Surrounded with trees, quiet and peaceful!

Most of the trail was washed out so it is great for a .5km walk in and then .5km back out on the same path.

This trail would have made 5 stars for the scenery and level of walk (for a very overweight beginer to walking for weightloss and health). But the stench is soooo horrific at times on the trail that I will not be coming back.

Very pretty but also very busy!

die you inbred snowflakes

Lovely walk.
RIP Hunter's Hat lost on blue bridge

lots of nice parts to this hike.

good trail takes about an hour to complete

Decent trail. I would probably mark it moderate vs "easy". Has a bridge that is blown out half way through making it difficult if you have any younger children with you. Otherwise a great way to spend an hr!

My 8 year old son and I did this trail and it was pretty nice. In just under an hour we were finished. Nice scenery and a few wildlife sightings made for a great time. However, I would stay away from it during or after it rains as there were some decents that were clay and could get pretty tricky to avoid.

This hike was awesome. So beautiful with different paths to take. The only thing that was not enjoyable was the sewer smell in 2 areas. Will walk this again.

good hike with off leash area along the river

great run with gorgeous scenery, I extended an extra 2km by not turning at back into the park at the bridge.

I continued straight on the path south and ran to the stairs going up to groat road and then down the hill back into the park.

This city hike took about an hour and a half with dependent on tow. On this particular day, there was a lot of people on the trails. The early yellow leaves were pretty but surprising to see so early. Not too many water views and lookouts. And a good portion had too much construction going on. I liked going through the different areas whether a dark forest, an open meadow, a hill with tall grass or some river side trails.

Good trail for the whole family(dog too). No matter which way you go there is going to be a climb uphill.
