This is a great trail with lots of hills and lots of options. The bike trails are more technical and fun to run on. I’ll definitely be coming back to this one.

Easy trail. paved the entire way. Some hills, but nothing strenuous. Lively views.

Great trail, a little muddy on the perimeter but nothing you can’t walk around or jump over. What a beautiful place we have in the middle of the city. It’s a little piece of heaven on earth for humans a dogs alike!

Went for Edmonton dark Halloween haunt !!! Amazing

beautiful circular walk. unfortunately the fort was in construction. and it rained light.

We started the trail from the Fort Edmonton parking lot. Trail was paved and dry. As we followed it along the river it was hard packed dirt and used by lots of bike riders. I would not recommend this portion of the trail to be walked by young children, dog walkers or seniors because the bike riders tend to come around corners at high speed. Otherwise it was an easy loop with mainly views of trees and not much else.

They have the art pieces up again near the 82 st and kinnaird ravine entrance, some quite stunning. Some cyclists aren't considerate of the off leash area.

I'd say it is more of an easy trail. Beautiful view to the downtown.

A very nice walk but not too difficult. A large part of the “trail” as mapped is a walking path through residential streets. My first time using the app.

Good walk, a little boring at times but there are small paths that lead down closer to the lake. Also love the benches along the way

Love it, so many friendly people and dogs

Lovely hike with my dog last spring. Easy trail with paved roads.

This was a fantastic trail with two terrain ‘paths’ for options. You could also go off the beaten path like I did on the way back (went up these stairs) and got an AH-mazing view of the river et al. Scenic, not too busy (when I went - 4:30ish).

nice quick walk. lots of bugs however. must bring bug spray. parking is Also busy

We hiked the trail today. It took us 25 minutes to get started because we could not find the trail and once we did find it (using the downloaded map) we had to turn around twice because we were already off the trail. Could be because there is a construction fence obstructing the trail immediately upon entering it. One other time (about 45 minutes in to the hike) we lost the trail again but easily found our way back to it. There are a lot of other trails intersecting this trail. A good portion of the trail goes through neighborhoods. Great views of downtown and the river valley.

Really good trail with stunning views of the river from high up and at riverside. Part of the trail is badly maintained and a bit challenging for a young child.

Good easy hike. Very flat. Good for dogs on leash.

Nice easy trail. Lots of trees with a few spots to look at the river.

Thoroughly enjoyed this trail. The wooded portion is beautiful with a nice mix of hills and flat terrain. I started this trail from the Fort Edmonton foot bridge and the stairs were brutal if you’re not used to doing stairs. Nice views. Would definitely visit this trail again.

Great trail! You have the option of pavement or a gravel path. I didn’t read the description properly and it is an off leash area. But all the pups I met were quite friendly. Scenery is beautiful. No bugs at the start and I went out about 530 pm. Near the end the mosquitos made their appearance. Couple muddy spots on the gravel path. Would definitely do this trail again.

I don't like this off leash area. My lab has been grabbed twice and once the guy was sitting in his car.
