Lovely little trail to take with dog and husband. Extra loop north of the bridge on the East side was worth the diversion!

Wow the views were amazing! Not too hard of a hike. We were a little confused at first where the trail started but once we figured it out it was great!

This was a great little hike not super hard but it is a great way to start the day and get your heart rate up. Due to other reviews we were happy to find the start of the trail at the two large rocks to the right of the parking lot. The trail is marked by orange ribbons along the way which was nice. This app shows fellow hikers and there locations on a decently populated trail. The falls are beautiful.

Pretty hike - the steep view down to the river is intimidating in places. Better to start at the viewpoint and go to the falls.

An easy walk around the lake. the loop takes you through a number of boreal ecosites, including a portion of boardwalk through a wetland. our kids, 4 and 6, spent time exploring the different plants and trees found along the loop.

The same thing happened to my friend and me last summer. This trail was supposed to be a loop, but loop we did not. There were no signs and the markers were confusing. Because of this, we kept following what we thought were our markers and ended up on a power line trail. We hiked for quite some time under the hot blistering sun, with zero idea of where we were. Finally reached a road and were able to eventually catch a ride back to Fish Lake.

Great little hike!! Easy to follow for the most part.... lost it a couple times on the way back but found it easily enough.... would definitely do it again!!

Very easy trail, good run in the morning.

Breathtaking falls on a relatively easy trail.

Fantastic view. There is no clear direction from the welcome sign, just keep driving and passing a large parking and washroom.

The hiking trail is unmarked and on the left hand side from the viewpoint.

easy hike as long as you stay on the main trail.

Great little trail, lots of variety between forest and open areas, helped to cool down on a hot day! Used this as a training trail for my 5 month old puppy’s first hike, perfect trail! Variety, obstacles beautiful views and an easy morning or afternoon hike. Also did this hike before when I was still rehabilitating by knee from an injury, not too drastic of a slope if you stick to the trail!

After tuning off the main highway to head to Crescent Falls you park at the first look out on your left. The trail is marked by 2 big rocks to your right. The Crescent Falls part of the hike was alright for a 40+ overweight first timer. If you’re afraid of high places the first part of the hike is testing. Got my heart rate way up just from that. I did not see much of the scenery due to looking directly down as to not trip and go over the edge. Trail is not marked so I was happy we were able to find it.

Planned on continuing to the Big Horn hike at the falls but was unable to find the trail head, walked through the camp ground and there was no markers for it. Even asked some people and no one was clear to where it was. Walked along the river and thought I saw a trail on the other side but I was not going to wade across the rapids to be wrong.

I will go back camping there at some point up by the falls because you can drive right in and then the search will continue for the big horn loop trail.

The falls are really nice to look at.

Nice trail for a walk/family friendly hike. Took 3 kiddos 1.5/3/8, and a dog. Lots of sloppy muddy spots today.

Great easy hike, was able to bring my 50 odd year old mother, great views, relaxed hike, quite populated however, and if you’re not willing to cross the stream in your car or truck near the river, then use the parking lots. Don’t clog up the road trying to turn around.

Conservation officers were out in full force the day I was there.

Really relaxed hike, the scenery is quite spectacular overlooking the canyon and the waterfall at the end is amazing. There is a rope you can use near the end of the trail that takes you down to the waterfall, it's kind of hidden off a second path.

This is a nice easy walk with great scenic lookouts. We got there somewhat early (around 9am) and it was pretty quiet and thankfully we did. It was pretty busy when we left.

It seems like most people drive to the falls and just look around there. We hiked the trail that is along the gorge down river from the falls.

We started at the falls and hiked to the lookout that you pass on your way in and then back around again. This was about 2.5 hours but we stopped to enjoy the views and for an early lunch.

It is an easy hike but definitely bring a leash for your dogs as it's a long, steep drop into the river below.

The trial is unmarked, that's the reason for the 3 stars. Otherwise the falls are beautiful.

Wonderful hike for the kids!!

Trails not clearly marked. We got lost and ended up on the forestry road. Luckily someone pick us up and took us to our car.

Was a nice easy hike that was good to bring dogs on however the cliffs are steep and close to the paths so I kept my pup on a leash most of the time. Nice view :)

You can see 2 falls at the same time cascading... 10-15 mins hike to the second level of the hike... great place for the family as there is a park to picnic.

Excellent, easy hike for kids. Lots of people on may long weekend. But always a beautiful spot to hang out.

Nice easy hike with pretty views

An easy hike and fun hike to do to get out and hike during the winter months!

One of our favorite lakes to go to. Did the small 2.5 km trail as there is a geo cache there we wanted to find. Great trails, was a few downed tree's but nothing that we couldn't get around.

Decent trail for a quick walk. It's nothing spectacular. The trail on the north side of the lake has a lot of roots but is still in decent shape.

Easy hike, not stroller friendly at all. Beautiful views of the lake and the campground looks fantastic. Will do it again.

nice easy after dinner walk, lots of birds, and a nice board walk at the north end. Relaxing, and even saw a moose! Campground is nice too, stalked rainbows, very small, great for the kiddies!

Great for a quick and easy look at some falls. Easy trails around the top and easy trails to get down to the bottom of the falls. Beautiful view.
