Great hike! Made it up in 2 hours and was able to jog down in 1 hour. Had to navigate around an avalanche that had just happened near the end. Steady climb up, the views are so rewarding!

Nicely groomed & easy up & down but not particularly scenic

Only went to bridge nice hard packed trail. Good walk with hiking shoes.

At the 2.4 km mark the creek became too dangerous to walk on. We could hear the water flowing beneath the ice and water would come up around our feet as we walked. We tried to find a way along the shore and through the trees but couldn't find a way through. We turned back at this point.

Great trail for all levels. Snow cleats aren’t really necessary unless you go off the beaten path. However, they do make it a lot easier. The falls frozen where absolutely stunning and you might even see some folks ice climbing.

one of the best Trails I hiked so far, but in the map as the return hike. That way you don't have to walk the same way twice and you don't have to "climb" such a steep slope...

This applies to trail up through Cataract Pass and Cline Lake, and back. Moderately difficult. Scenary is varied and unusually beautiful above tree line.

The Henderson loop is a good walk for families. Lots of stuff to do and see. It is also good for people wishing just to get out and enjoy the sun. The paved route is very well looked after. Would highly recommend it if you just want to get out and enjoy the sun.

Took this all the way put on Feb 9. -24 Celsius at the trailhead on arrival and -22 when I left, but the entire trail is sheltered, so if there was any wind i wasn't feeling it. You might be tempted to just stop and head back at the upper falls, but they have nothing on what the hike to, and the valley at inkpots has waiting for you. Keep going and you won't regret it.

The trail was perfect: well marked, and the snow is packed down right now so no crampons required. This short hike was perfect for a frigid day! We went no further than the lake due to avalanche risk. Gorgeous.

Did this hike February 9th and the path was easy to follow with well packed snow and steady moderate switchbacks all the way to the top. No ice cleats were needed today. There is clear signage all the way up. Took just over 2 hours to hike up. Up top you’ll meet up with the drop off point for the Sulphur Mountain gondola. There is a gift shop, restaurant, washrooms, an observation deck and more. The views of Banff and the surrounding mountains are beautiful. We opted for the gondola ride back down, which is free in the winter!

this is a one or two star hike and a 5 star mountian bike loop. be prepared for bikes flying down this single track if you're walking it

In my opinion, this is the most beautiful lake I've seen so far in the park (although I really love Rockbound Lake). Got there just as the sun was rising and it was gorgeous. Tends to get very touristy and busy as the day goes on, though.

Very busy and touristy trail but absolutely gorgeous! It says it's a moderate hike but I'd definitely say it's easy.

Thu Feb 07 2019

The hike itself is very easy but the lakes and the views are beautiful!

I bit slippery in spots, and came across quite a few cougar tracks. All in all great hike, well worth the views, I would recommend to do it on a clear day.

One the best hikes I’ve ever done. You feel amazing after you complete it. Shotgunned a beer at the top and it had to be the best beer I’ve ever drank in my life. I peaked on this mountain

we did this trail last weekend in clockwise way. we were using snowshoes but at the beginning with a lot of gravel was a little bit uncomfortable. the temperature was -30 so my cellphone stops at the middle of the recording. Easy trail, the challenge was the weather, but we finish in 2h30.

although the view at the top was obstructed by snowfall, it was a really nice hike and look forward to going on a clear day. not technical in nature but is a constant uphill climb but never too steep that it becomes uncomfortable. i can imagine this will be a very popular hike in the summer months but will definitely come back to do this one again. took us 2.5 hours with plenty of breaks along the way to keep our daughter happy.

pretty busy on the trail. nice steady hike.

We did the route counterclockwise. Finding the trail on the way down was a little difficult but being off route isn’t horrible- pretty easy to visually navigate. Stunning views. At this point in time, no snowshoes or crampons required.

Having completed the entire hike/scramble to Mt. Frank full day (Aug 2018) outstanding. Return via valley option. For the scrambling types this is awesome with some airy ridge work. No ropes required. According to sign in can on top a total of 19 individuals and groups in past 20 years. Well worth it. My rating is based on the entire full day hike/scramble.

Went in pursuit of the true summit via the gondola approach. It looks like a gnarly spicy little up and down ridge scramble but is definitely not a winter objective. Turned around after break trail in waist deep and higher snow. no slab sp limited avi risk but still too snowy
