Beautiful scenery of the Bow River and the birds flitting about. A real challenge to capture on film. Brisk walk and invigorating.

Nice stroll in the park. Bowness Park skating area is very pretty with fire pits, curling, a skating path and snack cafe.

Wonderful inner city woodlands with great pathways. Easily spend 1+ hours here just on the paths. Winter walking is easy as the paths are packed down, a stroller made for terrain would be needed if bringing one though. During the summer I can see children using the area for safe exploration. There are maps all around for ease of use for all trails, maps help immensely to find your way back to the two parking lots available.

Really nice inner city dog walk. The trees are cute and it looked magical all covered in snow. Watch for icy paths that have been plowed. Great for a 45 min dog walk

This is a great trail to see a little nature in the city. It took about an hour, my phone battery died partway through so its hard to say for certain! I’ve done this trail before and it’s a lovely 5km stroll with the dogs

Fun! Lake was frozen and skating was open. Bit icy. And the wind was a bit biting at the end. Great view of the Bow if you go off trail a bit... but across is Ikea. Ha. Great inner city break.

Great place to walk the dog. Signage not great and many little paths to get lost on, Alltrails App helped.

Beautiful trail with lots of wildlife, only downside is its close proximity to the deerfoot which can be quite loud

Nice leisurely walk to wear off the Xmas turkey dinners! Brilliant sunshine. Pathways were icy in some spots but trails were nicely compacted. Lots of people out enjoying the day!

A great place for a winter walk on a nice day. I love forests and there were only two things that could be better: the forest is too small and all trails were busy. A close second for me after Weaselhead Flats for a winter wonderland in the city.

Stuck basically to Edworthy park and the upper level dog bark along Sarcee. I think every resident person and dog in the city was there today. Some great trails in the trees going up to the upper parts but don’t go that way unless you like slipping and doing a complete face plant...in mud. Take the front part that is open to the sun instead. Didn’t go as far along the walkway as I would’ve liked ( covered in said mud) but a great day to be out anyways. Enjoy !

Really lovely 30 minute inner city space to connect to nature. A mix of gravel and paved trail. There are lots of offshoots you can do to continue the walk. All levels.
