Busy but rewarding hike along the creek with a good mix of sun & shade. Users have reported it is often muddy and to bring bug spray. Accessibility: This entire trail is not considered wheelchair or stroller friendly but a newly added, one-kilometer trail in the park (part of the One Kilometer Experience Trails Project) is paved, has railings, wheelchair accessible viewpoints, and interactive exhibits. The accessible trail also has ground markers and tactile warnings to assist those with vision loss. Unfortunately, it is unclear from pictures where this trail is located in the park at this time so we would appreciate user feedback. There are six other wheelchair accessible trails in development throughout the province that will be part of the same project. The Bow Valley Ranch Visitor Center and surrounding paved paths are wheelchair accessible.Show more

Nice birdwatching walk, with some exercise thrown in. East side of river the pathway may be flooded, but you can go around by hugging the golf course fence for about 30m.Show more
